Half time in Sturt North game. 8 goal to zero quarter leaves North up by 37.Sturt had more scoring shots at the poor end than North, but managed to drop one short, kick one into man on the mark, bounce one on the boundary line and kick one out on the full. Tambling did a little better with his disposal, not much. Managed to get flattened in a ruck contest and then have 2 players sit on him while he was still down. Riley off again with a seperate blood rule to the first one. Sturt had rub of the green. Kerridge again was unseen on the tv screen for much of the quarter and when he was on screen did little of any value. Non Crows who impressed that quarter were Amato (very draftable), Thring, Greenslade, Harms and Hinge. Greenslade goes at the ball very hard and has quick hands.
Agree with basically all of this.
Thring's one who interests me and is one I wonder whether we could perhaps look at developing into a small forward. Probably not big enough to play through the midfielder/half back at AFL level like he does at SANFL level, but is quick, hard, finds the footy and has great skills.
