I can't believe I heard an ad last night for SEN's A-league coverage at AAMI Stadium. Not a freudian slip, not words from the mouth of some soccer basher like Malcolm Conn, but an advertisement, pre-recorded, vetted, and put into rotation. AAMI ****ing Stadium! I'm sure management laugh when they read our posts about trivial errors, but there's got to be a line drawn somewhere. I generally sigh when a newsreader (in any medium) mispronounces a place or a name clearly showing their ignorance, but you accept that newsreaders can't be expected to know every name in all of life's spectrums. But when a sports station, whose criticisms are evident and fair, albeit with fantastic coverage of the A-league, can't even get a stadia's name right, their last warning is long in the distance.

Yes, the morning show seems to be struggling for content, interviewing little-known sportsmen and women, some from non-mainstream sports

That's what I thought. I don't like the sport in general but the worst part is that they amp it up for the events that are basically a magnet for cashed up bogans and slutty arm candy.

I agree. When a "sport" like that wouldn't survive for five minutes a spectator sport, then it's not a sport. As you say, it's just a jazzed up form of gambling

Why , because its true the F1 is a waste of money, whereas the Tennis and the Spring racing bring people to Melbourne for nothing. There are 7 cruise ships coming in for the Cup, the government doesn't pay for that

Anyway, I reckon SEN are due for a change up. Nothing too dramatic, the fact they are still going is proof they are wary of a wrong move. I reckon the 6-9 slot.

KB does his job I guess. I don't like Harf that much but he's easy in the afternoon ear. Ox/Marko not for me but has a following. Finey, like him or loathe him carries the station. And the late night show definitely needs more voices and future prospects, if not give the mic to Teo.

But that breakfast slot is so easy to turn into a gem. No offence to Gaze and Maher but unless I'm deaf it's beyond unlistenable.
