I passed through the CBD on foot in the afternoon, not too bad but the wind was causing dust and tiny debris to fly around George St because of all the construction going on.
I actually work on George street, up near Wynyard station. The construction is a giant pain in the ass tbh. So loud, right outside the office.

All we needed was a win to make it perfect! Still a beautiful arvo to laze in the sun haha.
Win in what game ?

You're not a Dragons fan are you ?....

Newcastle fan. Living in Sydney though.

If I was a Dragons fan I'd be in hiding. We won our 3rd consecutive spoon yesterday and yet still weren't the most embarrassing team to play haha.

The one thing i kept thinking all day yesterday about the Knights is that , yeah they were competitive most of the year....but they were LAST year too !!!

Ponga is a MASSIVE get for you guys though.
I don't wanna jinx him by putting labels on him but " The next big thing " is fitting

As forthe Dragons , that was horrible.
Totally eased off as soon as they hit the lead and were overrun by a shit team with nothing to play for.
Bad losses the last 6 weeks week against lower teams just skull**** a team

some of my best memories are the years living in Sydney

Balmoral Beach is one of the great places in the world
Lived in a flat on the beach at balmoral for 2 years, also lived in newtown/glebe/surrey hills before that and newport beach. Sydney is a great place if you can pay the rent.

Just moved from Melbs, love it, living in the inner east which I think makes the place. Work is all out west and with all due respect f**k living out there.
I'm the total opposite to you haha. Live out west and travel east, into the CBD for work.

Did a solid wander on the weekend from Kings Cross down through to the gallery for the Archibald, down through the rocks across the bridge to Luna Park and then back through the city and the Ivy complex. Sydney is a gorgeous city, there is a hell of a lot to do here as well, I think its criminally underrated for that sort of culture stuff as well. Melburnian all my life and this city has all the same offerings. Food and Nightlife in Melbourne is superior as in sporting atmosphere but Sydney has weather, beaches and amenity. To me the biggest difference I can see is that in Melbourne you can live 20-30km from the city and still have access to the great stuff Melbourne has, in Sydney it seems you need to be a lot closer to the City or the good spots to enjoy it.

Yeah but the " West " starts the far side of the Anzac bridge lol

I'll post this again -

Office is east and most of our sites are west, so I really only have to go west once a week at most.
How east is your office? Always up for a beer at lunch... :D

Out west isn't too bad, just depends on where. I like my area, nice and peaceful, have an army barracks right near as well.

So that's why you've not posted in the Perth thread for a long time.

You've moved interstate.

Ha, I haven't lived in Perth since I was around 6 years old. Grew up in Gosnels, for a few years anyway.
