I'm concerned over M-BIB's well being, and everyone who associates with her for that matter.:o
She's too quick for us and probably for herself as well. The poor little soul.:(

was just reading that it as advised that kinglake residents to be cautious and may need to be evacuated due to another fire threat

I think you are referring to the McMahons road fire - they are now saying it has 'subsided'. I have been at a victims BBQ (excuse the terminology) tonight in nearby Kangaroo Ground and the rain started belting down around 8.30 - I know Healesville got plenty too so I am hoping Kinglake got its share (Melbourne only got 2mm mind you) :thumbsu:

I am thinking the news is sounding very good - that rain must be widespread up our way as crews have been called off as it is too dangerous due to slippery conditions :thumbsu:

Unfortunately sometimes the rain can be a double edged sword....not enough to extinguish the fires, but enough to hamper back-burning operations.

And just as well. ODN forgot to put the bins out!
I didn't forget. Turns out I got drunk, got in my car, stuck a 10 cent piece in the ignition and proceeded to order a cheeseburger into the bins. I tell you what, the bastards took ages with my order and I had to go and get it myself, and I'll give you the tip .... it didn't taste much like a cheeseburger.

Ohhhh never again ........

A little care and a lot more lube would have been nice, that industrial solvent is no way to loosen up a sticky. All good and wet at KL. Shut me down if you will before Walshy and Alpha crack the grumps. :) :thumbsu:
