55m for two players who cost us a combined 14 (I think) is good business indeed. Let's hope we put ourselves in a really good position by January to attract another couple of quality players to the club.

I'm a bit annoyed it's the international break haha - we were just starting to get some momentum!

Rafa has some great pull as well - if we are looking good in January, I'm sure more players will be open to coming aboard!

Apparently Ritchie had a blinder of a game for Scotland during the week.

Big game vs Derby this week, another late one though. But it is on BeIn again, woohoo!

Good effort lads watching it! Glad we got the win to make it worth it for your troubles! Was going to watch it, had my laptop at the ready but dozed off around 2 I think (knew I should have had a coffee before hand).

Gouffran's volley was something! Rafa is a miracle worker - has been un-Pardewed haha. If he keeps playing like that, we'll be served well out wide with Ritchie and him!

Yedlin nabbing a goal late as well I saw.

3 points, another clean sheet and up to second. We'll take it! Good to have the football back!

Yep rolling along nicely. We didn't even look like conceding either. Anita has been great at RB. Even Dummett played pretty well.

I think I read Rafa left out like 7 players for the game as well - great to see our depth has actually improved as well as seemingly less players spending time in rehab and recovery!

Shelvey (2), Perez, Clark, Mitrović and Hanley.

Shelvey's second (our third) was the pick of the bunch! Great for Mitro to get his first goal of the season as well as new boys Clark and Hanley bobbing up too. Mitro hit the woodwork too I think in the highlights.

I hadn't checked to see what time the game was on so will have to look out for the replay but certainly getting more pleasure from the Championship Rafalution than the shite we've served up in the Premiership the last few years!

Nice to see more rotations - Diame, Gayle and Mbemba all into the starting lineup. Rafa clearly built up our depth to help handle the additional fixtures. We're playing a bit better now too...
