The problem is people have to stop thinking it's these 'old' members fault. When really it has been the stadiums fault. Macroscopically it has been great for WA football (allowing Freo to grow) but from a West Coast perspective this new stadium can't come soon enough so we can start growing our membership again.

Subi is the biggest POS stadium out there.

I went to the MCG a few years ago for the Hawks and Cats GF. There were 98,000 at that game and getting in and out was like taking a Sunday stroll on the beach

Subi, you have to step over all the people stopped in the walkway talking to their mates and ******s texting, not watching where they are going walking straight into you!

Eagles supporters in Melbourne are awesome I have to admit, but I think a lot of them are younger supporters.

Crows used to also have an older demographic that attended games and they used to play crowd noise through the speakers to wake them from their living dead state. I think AO attracts more younger people to the games and they are closer to the action which probably improves the viewing spectacle.

I wonder if the price of membership and the waiting list (charging to be on the waiting list) has alienated younger supporters, from the outside looking in they seem to have a larger slice of the younger demographic.

He doesn't have a choice, he can't fit in between his seat and the back of the seat in front of him. Not that many could, it's worse than flying on a budget American airline for legroom.

The stadium is so outdated it's not funny, I pay $600+ and sit on a wooden bench. The new stadium cannot come quick enough, after visiting wembley/emirates I am very excited for the new stadium. As for our fans, a lot of them are old, miserable sods who just complain and know **** all about the team and modern football. KICK IT! KICK IT!! Ohhh not to him! Or the groaning when we switch the ball to create space, find myself drinking more at home games to numb the pain of our crowds.
