Pretty hard to do contracted players. And injury prone players. I’d even struggle to rank the first three TBH.

Sauce not worth much IMO and Hartigan maybe a third rounder.

Bruce and Keath closer to 20-25, Daniher top 10 given he's contracted and required. Carlisle also much earlier.
 
If the eagles could get all the speculated players for free (on a realistic salary) this is my rough rider of preference. Order impacted by our good stock of talls.

Kelly - under-valued
Langdon - slightly over-valued
Howard - about right
Greenwood - under-valued
Ryder - about right
Betts - about right
Frampton - about right
Cameron - about right

Mind you, most trades have been aligned to general valuations so far.

Don't think Greenwood trade was about right. I would of thought too that he was worth about pick 55 but GC future 3rd and 4th rounder probably means pick ~37 and pick ~55.

Would there be any other player whos done nothing in 3 years thats ever been rated as high as Danihers trade value? 27 years old next year and has kicked over 50 goals in a season once. Id be livid if we gave a first rounder for him.

Cheers. Time will tell.

I think generally players go for less than is speculated before trade period though. I didnt undervalue too many last year but can't remember how I went in years before that.

Having another look, it's probably only the top half that I think are undervalued. It's hard to argue with the bottom half. Most out of contract players looking for opportunity don't often get a lot in a trade.

As we saw last year with Kelly and Hill etc clubs will want premium value for highly rated players which is fair enough.

I think we'll see a lot.of first round picks changing hands this year.

20ish wouldn't be a bad starting point. He's durable and tough which is a bonus and can actually defend (a lot of defenders seem to want to rebound first, defend second)
