- Richo has a heart bigger then Phar Lap
- We have the best supporters and our cheer squad and grog squad is UNRIVALED
- When we put our mind into it and bring our brains to the game we CAN accomplish great things
- Kelvin Moore is a deity...of what denomination I don't know yet
- Hawthorn Supporters are the worst - There was a family sitting infront of me Madtiger and Smasha...5 mins to go and they stand up and leave. Next thing I know a cop is asking me to step out of the crowd and bring MT and Smasha. That family lodged a complaint with the cop that we were swearing and being abusive to them. AN UNTTERLY UNTRUE AND SLANDEROUS ALLEGATION..BACKED UP BY THE NICE OLDER TIGER LADIES SITTING NEAR US. So we have to listen to this warning by the cop...in the meantime Richo kicks the goal to seal the game. Situation was resolved and we got to stay. Dog Act of the century.
- Hawthorn supporters clearly can't think for themselves. A big jumper with a number 9 on it eh? Now who was it that had a big jumper in the stands for rounds and rounds. Hmmmm. US. Bingo.
- There is a direct correlation between the amount of cocaine residue in the nasal passage of Buddy and the amount of goals he will kick. Today that amount wasn't at peak concentration. Columbia musn't be able to churn the stuff out quick enough. Alledgedly, without prejudice. *High 5's legal team*
- As I have said all along, Daniel Connors is a magician masquearading as a footballer. If he gets his work ethic right he can do amazing things. Today he learnt what he has to do for that work ethic. Expect big things.
- We have a midfield without Axle.
- Hawks supporter know nothing about footy. To the guy that said to me in passing "This is a good preperation game for the NAB Cup 09 for you guys eh?"...."Losing to a team out of the 8 and you had penciled in to be a 10 goal win...wow that's gotta be good preperation for the finals"
- Our backline is coming along so nicely that Rance could be just a depth player!....jokes....but maybe not!

Things i learnt:

1. Shane Tuck and Chris Newman are two of the most underated footballers going round.
2. Matthew Richardson is on par with Robert Harvey and Scott West as the best clubmen in the AFL.
3. Never write the Tigers off in any game.
4. We have THE BEST theme song of any team in the AFL.
5. We are capable of putting 4 quarters of quality football together in the same game (probably the most pleasing aspect).

The pretty boy hawk fans upstairs were looking for trouble. Calling us ****s, w***ers etc. All because we were supporting the club . The knob behind us with his kid getting smart when we were 5 goals up and told us to keep cheering. What about the old scrubber calling all of our players w***ers. Knobs

Is that no matter the team we can win. Even if the opposition are calling us w***ers and knobs. Next time tell them hey look at the score board stupid.
I think no team is saft if we keep playing like this, so beware we will bite back.

-That we may not be the dumbest football side in the league after all, definitely the smartest performance ive seen from the side in a very long time

-That tambling doesnt need to be a standout player to be a good player for us. His impact and the way he put in the little 1%'s at critical moments was most welcome. Not as flashy as his brisbane game but i rate that his most solid game, barely put a foot wrong

-Yesterday has once again shown that if the side has NO passengers, you can match and beat nearly anyone. If you had of told me (and any of you) that we could outplay the hawks without brown and foley i'd/you'd have LMAO.

-Confirmed that after a slow start where he got touched up a fair bit, Newman is in career best form, doing what a defender is meant to do first and foremost and thats stop his direct opponent.

-confirmed that mcguane belongs and our KP defence is coming along well.

-I may well be wrong about jackson, was impressive

and finally confirmed that we need to keep connors, polo, edwards in the side at one time all the time.
