Is it just me or are the lines for grog at the G getting a bit lighter? Used to be huge lines and now it's a breeze

Could have been worse.Someone got charged 300$ for a drink ..

Drinks before the footy at a pub is the way to go.Bad quality beer
Overpriced
Cues to buy
More toilet breaks
Balancing cups walking down the aisles
More litter
Lots of reasons really , if it’s a nice warm autumn afternoon/ evening I’ll have a couple with the old boys behind me but otherwise can’t really be bothered , just watch the footy
That's a bit subjective really. I'm sure they'd tell you they had a great night/time. Otherwise, as you say, why would they do it.This is worse at concerts.
Why pay several hundred backs for a ticket, to either sit there and drink/chat the whole way through? Such a waste.
Some of the smaller venues are the best gigs ive been to. Loud as ****It's more an indictment on the modern gig going experience, it should be so loud you can't hear yourself think let alone talk to someone.

In Kyrgyzstan I got offered cigarettes for change.Purely as a smoker if I died heaven would be early 90s Zimbabwe. There was no such thing as a non smoking area, I was cashing a travellers cheque in a bank, the teller pulled out a pack, lit up and then offered me one. That's customer service.
I feel the current price rises were a tipping point. It feels noticably quieter.
Good I say. At some point it can't just keep rising a dollar a year.
I don't see the AFL stopping this anytime soon. One of my favourite things about Japan is their culture doesn't have a convenience tax. A drink from the supermarket is Y100, then from the 7/11 it's Y100, then from a train station it's Y100, and the airport Y100... Here the second you are a captive market you know you are going to be gouged. If a coffee is $5 why is it $8 or $10 at the airport? You aren't in a remote location where you can't get staff or supplies...
I think people are just sick of being rorted. Cost of living is already biting without raising prices because you can. You used to be able to get a carton for $30 and a pint at the pub for $5-6. You knew if you went to the footy or the airport or a concert there would be a premium on top of that. Now you're lucky to get a carton for $50-60 and a beer of the month for $10 and the footy premium keeps being added year on year. $12 for a cup of mid strength, $5 for a water, $6.50 for a Coke. This is just ridiculous. The cold drinks near the tills at Coles sell at 100%+ mark-up. I'd love to see an explanation why stadiums need to make two or three times that.
Six packs here are the biggest load of rubbish. One of my favourite things about Japan is their culture doesn't have a convenience tax. Wth is a cube.I bought a cube recently because a 4 pack was $26 and a cube was $76. Silly.
Also it's not a cube. It's a rectangular prism. I feel this annoys me more than everyone else buying overpriced beer.
This is not one of those pyramid schemes you hear about. Our model is a trapezoid.I bought a cube recently because a 4 pack was $26 and a cube was $76. Silly.
