As we all know, this is the embodiment of heartbreak.

What else is out there? I present the great Jimmy Stewart. Incredibly moving poem about his dog Beau.

Argus was a puppy
Frisking full of joy.
Ulysses was his master,
Who sailed away to Troy.

Argus was on the seashore
Watched the ship’s white track,
And barked a little puppy-bark
To bring his master back

Argus was an old dog,
Too gray and tired for tears
He lay outside the house-door
And watched for twenty years.

When twenty years were ended
Ulysses came from Troy
Argus wagged an old dog’s wag,
And then he died for joy

That was on last night and bugger me, it was pulled a lot of heart strings!
Yeah, I watched it too. First time. Definitely struggled a bit :p.

Another that kills me at the end is Marley and Me. It was on not too long ago, tears were flowing quite a lot. Although i'm a pretty emotional movie watcher, so pretty much any sad movie gets me.

This scene from Fresh Prince. Will Smith is an amazing actor. Context: Will Smith's flakey dad comes back after years of being estranged, they bond, he goes back to flakey ways to disappear.

The Jurassic Bark episode got me the first time I saw it because I hadn't heard of its reputation. Now - well it depends how much red wine I've had and whether my pets are present.

From my childhood, this is the clip that got me, and still gets me. Sorry about the quality, but this at least has the sequence in full.

When Adric died saving the Earth from the Cybermen, and simultaneously wiping out the dinosaurs.

Jurassic Bark isn't even the saddest episode in Futurama's original run. Luck of the Fryish and Time Keeps on Slippin' have a much heavier punch to the heart. I like Time Keeps on Slippin' because the build-up to Fry and Leela had been simmering all series long, whereas Luck of the Fryish and Jurassic Bark were self-contained episodes with no real prior introduction of these characters we were meant to feel for.

Plus, everyone can feel for the poor schluck with a heart of gold who keeps trying.

Time Keeps on Slippin' gets bonus marks for being the funniest episode in the whole run, too. Absolutely packed with killer lines and still manages the big emotional hit at the end.

Everyone in this room is now honorary Globetrotters!
While you were gone, the Globetrotters held a press conference and announced I was a jive-sucker.
Sweet Clive, laugh derisively at him.
This promises to be a by the numbers affair with no surprises whatsoever.

this is going to sound incredibly homo, but i cried at the end of the notebook

my tears made the BJ all the more better though :thumbsu:
