I woke up feeling like a freight train had hit me on Thursday and Friday morning. I drank not one drop on either Wednesday or Thursday night.

I drank a decent amount last night, and woke up this morning feeling a million bucks.

This is a little concerning I feel.

A mate of mine is a site manager and he always refers to the morning 'tradie jam' - they'll all come into work with coffees and then inevitably, there's a mad rash for the cans about twenty minutes later and sometimes, it's a pretty willing thing and if you're last there, you might have an uncomfortable wait.

An original drawing from the popular Tintin adventure Explorers on the Moon has sold for a record €1.55m (£1.3m) in Paris, auction house Artcurial has announced.

The 50cm x 35cm drawing in Chinese ink by the Belgian cartoonist known as Hergé shows the boy reporter, his dog, Snowy, and sailor Captain Haddock wearing spacesuits and walking on the moon while looking at Earth. It had been expected to sell for between €700,000 and €900,000.

I should get my Uderzo sketches valued, come to think of it I should try to find them.

This kind of pleases me and shits me. Went to physio for first time in over a year. 7 degree weather kicking my ass with healed broken bones. One session made a big difference.

Did some swimming to help out afterwards. Took my oldest boy and booked him in for Saturday lessons starting January. He can learn while I swim laps alongside.

I went to a Tintin shop in Bruges when I was there, being a fan of Tintin growing up I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the Tintin merch there.

A pity most of the stuff there was so expensive and well out of my price range being on a backpackers budget.
