Australian Chinese is great, I like it when there's so much msg in it the sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken are almost glowing. I'd probably go to water faced with authentic Chinese food.

Chinese food in China (which is just food I guess) was a bit different. They're big on chili from what I noticed, I had a full chili accidently in my spoon when having some soup there, needless to say the Tsing Tao longneck got smashed pretty quick.

Went to china a few years back. They do not cater for tourists at all, even the tourist hot spots like Ghost Street are just serving straight chinese. Its awesome (Shanghai has some westernised stuff but pretty much anything north of that doesnt give a shit about us white folks).

I had about a kilo of chilli crawfish on Ghost street and couldnt feel my mouth for like 3 days.

I live in a small tourist based town we have be n dying for a Chinese take away and a Cambodia family have bought a local takeaway shop and now offer Asian dishes. It is soo good to and great value. Most times when you order a honey or lemon chicken it is super soggy, theirs is super crispy , already had it this but now I want more
