I may be guilty of that at times.

The phone is always in my pocket when I'm out but I just leave it in my bedroom on the charger when home. Sometimes I don't hear it and only realise I've got a text when I go to bed a few hours later (the phone keeps flashing).

Clearly i am of the understanding that yes, people do go away from phones at points to shower, toilet, garden, drive, or occasionally forget it. Thats fine.
I hate the excuses that entail a 24 hours delay in replying. Seriously, an SMS takes ten seconds to reply too. Excuses for mobile phone slackness is not on anymore with phones these days.

What on earth is so mind-shatteringly important that it can't wait a few hours? If I am at work the policy is to return calls before COB or failing that within 24 hours. I don't see why my personal life is required to be any more rigorous.

It's a mobile phone, not a monitoring bracelet. I don't answer my phone or look at texts when I'm with somebody, so if I'm at lunch with someone it's probably going to be at least a couple of hours until you get a reply.

I had a mate get shitty at me today because I didn't reply to his text asking me to go for ice cream, as my phone was in the other room, and I didn't hear the message tone.
If you're asking something in which an immediate reply is required, a phone call is the best way to go. I don't keep my phone on me all the time, or check it constantly for text messages, however my ringing tone is loud enough to hear it anywhere in the house, so I will answer calls pretty much all the time.
Now he's being all passive aggressive at me because I didn't reply in time, even though I apologized and explained how I didn't have my phone on me. His reply was "Whatever, I don't care. It doesn't even matter anyway". Grow up/ man up and call next time.

I was tagged in some note on fb by some girl talking about her past year. Mentioned she met a boy (clearly talking about her bf). Thing is they started sating last year. i made it very clear of this. i could of gone alot further with what i was telling her but we are sorta friends and im friends with the bf so didnt really want to start a shitfight.

I would find somewhere else to park or catch public transport, but im not really keen on catching public transport after a late shift (9.30pm), especially after all the dodgy train stories in the news late last year and likewise im hardly keen on walking the streets of perth by myself at those times.

Yeah but usually the commercial radio stations dont annoy me as much (not like i listen to them all day), imo the last 3 months or so have gotten worse and worse and WORSE.

Argh, that ****ing Pink song Raise your Glasses... god DAM it..

It also doesnt help i go to my gym like an hour and a half/ two hours long sessions and theres the same bloody Foxtel music channel- which plays that same shit as well!!!!


I flicked the car radio over to Gold FM and was ****ing relieved to hear this old Elton John song- CAUSE ITS A DIFFERENT SONG.
