I like the older horror movie style, the torture pr0n format ala Hostel, Saw, green inferno I really struggle with. I turned off Hostel about halfway through.

I just had one of those Morrocan Lamb subs, was quite tasty, I had garlic aioli sauce rather than that mint yoghurt shit which helped though.

Same Gory horror does nothing for me. I love psychological horror/thrillers. Drag Me to Hell was the last horror movie that I really liked. Actually Unfriended wasn't too bad either.

I do like a good scary movie but they are few and far between. Sinister and It Follows were good. The Witch wasn't really 'make you jump' scary but a classic story well done.

My taste in horror is probably more akin to the "Slasher" subgenre

Not stupid scary, but genuinely edge of your seat stuff.

The Night Stalker was pretty scary in it's day....Still recall the episode where he's sewing the zombie' lips together & it wakes up as he's doing it.

Silence of the Lambs is a very good film.

Not stupid scary, but genuinely edge of your seat stuff.

More of a thriller though isn't it, rather than your "horror" genre.
