Turn volume down when looking for a car park, or coming close to your destination
I think everyone does this, there is some science behind it (visual processing being harder with loud noise or something).

Almost have a cry when I'm filling up the car and see the last person only bought $10 worth of petrol. Obviously they can't afford much more

I usually wonder where they're going. The next bowser?

$10 used to half a tank but now.....
Over the last year or so, I had an aversion to hitting the $100 mark when refilling (I have an average 50-ish litre tank on my car). I had a couple of times when the bowser got into the $90s and I stopped before it reached the ton because I didn't want to pay that!

Finally 'scored' my first ton a month or so ago, last time petrol was over the $2 mark.

When I fill up my two petrol cans for my mowers it comes to about $15. But I also see people at ATMs taking $10 or $20 who must be struggling.

I try to imagine millions of years ago and try to picture city streets being desolate with dinosaurs roaming around.
The streets weren't completely desolate

What the turnover rate in my estate is like.

The people who lived in my estate when I moved on NYD 2015 have moved elsewhere.

In my little section, at least 7 houses haven't swapped hands.
I do this

I'm currently second longest resident ( and as the other is in his 40s it might stay that way)

Had another resident pass away pre-Xmas so his unit will have the 3rd tenant in my time
