I do understand that the heat and humidity melts their faces off but it doesn't mean that girls can't wear any make up at all does it?
Haha, a bit harsh :D

Isn't there like special waterproof eyeliner and stuff these days?
Yeah but it looks like shit.

You can barely see it.

If you lived here you would have 200% more stalkers ;)

(sorry couldn't resist)
LOL, no offense but Darwin is a bit of a hole :p

This is why girls are lucky Michelle Phan came along.

All this did was remind me that I love Jessica Nigri :p

Google is your friend if you don't know who she is. I don't hate anything about her

Must be tough being a juggalo in Darwin too.

I've always thought girls should have to earn a make-up license at a young age, like a kid gets a pen license in primary school.

Attractive + lots of make-up ≠ more attractive.

Ugly + lots of make-up ≠ attractive.

If it's noticeable to a guy that a girl is wearing too much make-up, then chances are she is wearing far too much make-up.

Of course makeup is noticable, it's meant to be. There is no such thing as perfectly made-up skin. Celebs are airbrushed. Catch them walking down Flinders St, and they'll look super cakey in comparison to everyone else.

What's the point of going for a natural makeup look if you're butt-ugly anywho?

muttweed, aren't you in high school? High school girls are terrible with makeup. It's why most schools don't let them wear it.

I'm terrible at judging female ages but I find one of the best indicators is how well they apply makeup when they're going out at night. I don't think I've ever seen a girl younger than early 20s who has learned the art of subtlety with mascara and foundation.

Skin isn't supposed to be perfect or perfectly made-up. Sure, it would be nice - but it isn't going to happen and lying face down in a dip before you go out isn't going to achieve that result anyway.

What's the point in coating yourself in inch-thick make-up whether you're butt ugly or otherwise?

Nope, gap year atm.

I don't wear foundation, tinted moisturiser.

And I don't wear mascara, I usually wear false lashes or leave it natural.

And yeah, don't know where you've been hanging around. There are tons of girls under 20 that cbf wearing makeup.

True :thumbsu:

To make them feel better about themselves, I think

I never wore make-up in high school, but now use it for going out, work and uni etc. I am still happy to be seen without it, unlike some of my friends who I haven't seen without make up for over 5 years. My problem is probably understating it to the point where my foundation is hardly noticeable - for fear of overdoing it. Fortunately I have fairly good skin.

As far as what annoys me about females - nastiness. We can be really horrible to eachother, calling eachother ****s and so on, which in my opinion just makes it OK for guys to call us that. */Mean Girls reference*. Fortunately once you're out of highschool you can avoid this type of people a lot better.

What I mean is that under 20 they tend to either not wear it, or cake it on. It seemingly takes a while for most girls to work out how to use make-up in a tasteful, understated way.

A bit like boys and cologne.

Their need/want to have things dangling from the rear vision mirror. Its so annoying!

Came across another thing mainly when i was at school. Girl A complains about girl B (who is more attractive than her) and her apparent overuse of makeup. Proceeds to call her a ****/whore etc.
To me this is obvious jealousy as she feels threatened by girl B.

I don't understand all of the nastiness between girls. Usually it's when they first meet someone new, and you can tell by the look on their face what they're going to say when the other girl leaves! It's very very off putting..though occasionally quite humourous also.

I'm currently finishing off season 6 of sopranos - exhibit A; a socialogical look into the bitchiness between men.

It's rampant and these are supposed to be 'tough guys'.

I'm not sure how close that is to Australia though. If a guy is a shit bloke, he is called that, but it's not that common in my experience...maybe all my mates are just top blokes though ;)

Bitching: Because women are more competitive than you think.

Every girl wants to be the one that walks down the street in the latest fashion, hair blowing in the wind as all the guys she passes checks her out. Every girl.

If another girl threatens her in ANY way, hell even being too nice is a threat, and she'll go defensive then offensive straight away.

It's an instinct first inherited from our Biblical ancestress Eve.

And it's pointless. But it's women.

It's about mobsters and mafias.

What did you expect them to say? "I think Tony's a decent guy and I love that gun he used to kill our boss" ;)

Just had a disagreement with the missus. Rubbish needed taking out.

Got the, "It's been there all day why haven't you taken out?"

Well I've been working all bloody day why can't you do it?

"Oh thats not a womans job. Its always been the mans job."

Half hour later dishes need doing.

"I cooked dinner and now I have to do dishes. Thanks for volunteering."

My response, "Thats always been womens work."

"Equal rights bla bla bla, sexist, bla bla."

****, seriously?

I was raised doing ALL the housework from a young age, and cleaning up after my several male siblings.

Your wife needs to stop being lazy. It's not a stereotypical "man's/woman's job" thing, it's called "trying to make life easier for everyone".

She sees the full rubbish, she should do it. You see some dirty dishes, do them.

Why should it be something to argue about?

To quote The Rock from the now WWE, he said something that your missus needs to hear: "Know your role and shut your mouth.":D
