Bock needs to get with the tempo and Thompson needs to give more.

Our Rucks are getting creamed at bounces & around the ground.

We are going wide whilst WC are using the centre corridor which they didn't in round 22.

Kerr and Judd are getting far too much of the ball and we are making mistakes under pressure and not handling the ball at all well when it is raining. I think we are lucky to only be 7 points down, if we can shut down their Kerr and Judd in the 2nd half and it doesnt rain again we might be okay.

Mcleod and Shirley have to lift both are having shocker's especially mcleod move him into the midfeild, in the 2nd half.

AFC dont seem to have much run atm and need to find some, kicking without purpose, need to settle it down and attack the goals find the run and put West Coast under pressure.

I would agree with your comments. Our midfield is down ie Edwards, Thompson etc, and they are killing us at stopages, which is normally our strong point. They seem to be able to go into their forward line with more ease, where as ours is stop start, and it doesnt help with their defenders playing well.

Agree, except Thompson has been on the bench a lot. Shirley is playing the worst game of his life, surely. He was about 10m behind Judd everytime he has the ball. What would Mattner be like on Judd?

We need our midfield to get the contested ball! Roo, Goody etc are just sitting back waiting for it to come out! Whats wrong with Macca today, fumble galore. I wish we would go down the middle, not wide.

Perrie and Kenny are doing well.

Eagles just seem to be handling the ball better. We just can't get a handle on the bloody thing.

And same old story with our goalkicking, should've done better in the first term when we had so much play.

The good thing is, there's a lot of improvement in the likes of McLeod, Edwards, Ricciuto and Thompson. Hopefully they'll lift in the second half.

I think we've had enough of the ball, we just haven't done enough damage.

They've been pretty good in clearing the ball out of our forward line. Beating us at our own game with the numbers they get back down there.

Conversely, and given the high standard we've come to expect from our backline, I've been a bit disappointed with the way they've cut through our defence at times.

I think you are in a good position. Your forward line has played well when its been up there. Both your three key forwards have taken some strong marks and kicked goals. Midfield getting thumped. Riccuito and Edwards have had no influence so far. Defence has played well.

I think if you can quieten some of the Eagles midfiedlers influence then you will win.
