2 x M20 Row M - Snap bang right on the wing!

If anyone has N section (Level 2) and is willing too swap please PM me.

GO BLUES!

The ticketmaster system is an absolute joke. At the very least, if you're paying for "premium" seating, you should be able to nominate the level or section you would like to sit in.

What does the "-S" on the end of your ticket order mean?

Ie - Q32 GG-S

Cheers!

Since it comes with seat numbers I'm sure it means "standard" as in the seating class.

Olympic Stand - section Q32, Row GG - standard seating.

Ticketek sell the worse tickets first thing knowing die hard supporters panic they may miss out getting a ticket at all so they take whatever is given doing it over the net IMO. Then as time passes public reserve seating goes on sale, they filter out better seats which are far more expensive. So basically football members get shafted regardless of paying top dollar membership and supporting your team all year round.I'm a fully paid up member have been for many years,go to every game in Melbourne, didn't have a chance to jump on the net until later Monday afternoon to get tickets and of course was offered top deck nose bleed seats which i was absolutely filthy about so i didn't buy them.Waited until yesterday, paid top dollar and got a great seat.Very poor!!!:thumbsd:

If you dont mind me asking... how much did you pay per ticket...?

I thought that all the seating was broken down into the following categories regardless of club memberships or gen admin...
Standard - approx $45
Prime - approx $60
Premium - approx $73

This is the seating chart also for finals, which shows that the standard seating is pretty much either nosebleeds, or the cheer squad, prime is rest of the top deck, and premium is all of first 3 levels (excluding cheer squad)...

After speaking to ppl, and reading on forums, it seems that if you were in a big group, you could only get seats on ground level (i.e - I am in a group of 6 and got ground level), but if it was just a couple of you, then ticketek could issue tickets on the next 2 levels (obviously best viewing points)..

Anyway, im just over the moon that im going... this will be my first final since the 93 first final between carlton and essendon @ night when we won by around 3-5 points... (I was only 10)... funnily enough, my cousins and I also attended the North v Eagles match the same day at waverley park, so from attending 2 finals in 1 day, to not going to a final for the next 18 years, im well over due... :)

Im on level 2 section n8... about 5 bays away from the essndon cheer squad... is this likely to be an essendon dominated area ? Not that I care too much... uless we loose of course, if we win I will be voicing my support load and proud no matter how many essendon supporters im surrounded by lol

I got N8 as well. So it should be a Carlton bay.

I paid $73 premium and $50 for a concession holder.
The nose bleeds were $40 from memory.

Yeh paid the same... I would have thought that premium would have been only the middle 2 levels tho, but ahwell, once your there it wont matter where were sitting... as long as it aint nose bleeds...

Record crowd for Blues-Dons

AFL Members sold out in 41 minutes.... good god...!!

In a WTF... Geelong fan, can't remember user name, just looked up tickets for our game and found they were selling tickets N51 row K. He was looking to buy three. It's on the main board. So if you haven't got tix yet heads up.

God ticketek is a joke, just did a search and it seems theyve released another batch, level 2 included, anyone that is without a ticket snap them up now you can still get great seats.

Just tried then, got 3 seats on Level 2 in the exact same section I got my seats in on Monday. WTF?

I called ticketek on monday when I tried buying my tickets. Originally I was given level two, and was told the payment went through but I had no confirmation. Tried calling them for three hours till i got through, by that time all the levl two tickets were gone. got into an agruement over the tickets with a supervisor, and there was nothing they could do to give me the level two tickets i was orginally allocated other than buy some tickets and hope that at some point in time more level two tickets would be released and I can then swap them over. ended up getting level four on the wing, but also got some level two tickets the next day when a mate was kind enough to let me use his afl membership.

when i called ticketek, I was told that they are not responsible for what tickets get released when, it is acutally the stadium which is responsible, so some slack should probably be given to ticketek (still doesnt excuse them for their poor service)

the way the mcg released the tickets is rather stupid though. should release all the tickets that are available rather then keeping a heap until later in the week so that the indicisive can get better seats than the ones who tried to get in early.

tickettek and the mcg are useless at this. first time round on monday morn they tried to put me with the essendon cheer squad (i understand essendon supporters being upset getting put next to our cheer squad) so i let the page time out.

second time around i go p11 on level 3 can anyone tell me about these seats?
im pretty sure they are above my home seats for captains club reserved seating.
