I wouldn't say odd.It's odd they have prioritised this signing over Coniglio's. Just like Hawthorn last week announcing a number of signings after nothing for months (including extending Tom Mitchell another 2 years even though he still had 2 years to go), maybe everyone has their answer internally regarding if Cogs is going or staying.
Regardless, congrats GWS, Taranto is a ******* gun!
