So people don't want to do what their parents did, so they do reverse. The next gen does it reverse and end up like their grandparents...?
My theory exactly. Not only on Relationships but most things. They tend to skip a generation. People want to differentiate from their parents/see the mistakes they made but inadvertently go back a generation.
Happened Boomers- Roaring 20s (skipping the Depression era)
1890s- Depression (skipped roaring 20s)
Gen Y/Millenials (Skipped Boomers and went stability of Grandparents post WW2 or 1950s early 60s pre hippie) aftermouth
It is uncanny.
