Completely irrelevant.
"Toby Greene" thread - not reports umpires may have missed.
I'm not allowing it at all - the umpire on the ground could report this.

Here fishy fishy - hahaha

But the MRP ignored it also. Why did they if it's so clear cut in your eyes and the rest of Eddies minions that Greene had to go.

Toby Greene is a little thug who finally got his just desserts.

Let him try that shit on a non-pinned opponent. He wouldn't be eating solid food for a month.

As for the whining by the GWS supporters, blame your coach and club for excusing and thereby condoning his actions; ones which every other club and person condemn.

Mumford does it toe to toe.

Like when he (lined him up and) "clumsily" broke Marc Murphy's ribs?

I put Mumford in Cotchin's league in that he tends to get rather clumsy when some ribs are open for the taking. This can be considered almost in "general play" vs Greene waiting for someone to be prone on the ground and going in for the head.

Both methods target defenceless players and risk serious injury . Greene's looks far more grubby I admit.

Treloar got reported and fined earlier this year - first offense in 162 games.

Again thread title "Toby Greene" - 17 offenses in 141 games. (plus numerous other questionable incidents)
On thread - there would be hundreds of other incidents similar to this that Greene would have committed and gotten away with too, whether it be judged insufficient force etc etc.
If you were to report incidents like your example Toby Greene would be broke and probably only played a handful of games.

There is a match day report completed on every game - I suggest you go and read the one applicable as to why this did not constitute a report.

Again - tin hat - shouldn't you be at Area 51 today.
Now crawl back behind your grassy knoll.

Toby had to go because 3, i will say it again, 3 different panels said he had to go, get it?

Two with Collingwood people making the decision. Also doesn't help Eddie McGuire on Fox Footy then Triple M pushing and pushing for it. He along with Tom Brown have been going flat out at it since the game. Then the AFL run Fox Footy pushing the AFL agenda.

The appeals tribunal is there if the 1st 2 make a mistake, tells us why they said he had to go also, while you're at it, also tell us what qualifications you have in sports law.

Have to say, unfortunate incidents with Bont and Neale aside, I really enjoyed Toby putting the Dogs and Lions to the sword with his sublime skills and goal scoring and creative scoring opportunities. If you took his reputation and admittedly piling up on field indiscretions out of the equation, he would be regarded as a top 3 most exciting and dynamic players to watch in the league.

He is a flawed genius, bit like Eric Cantona in many respects.

I'll back Toby in to be bigger and better next year and with a kind injury run, The Giants are good things to make the Granny.

The amount of hate he has been getting is reaching ridiculous levels (in my opinion)
I just want to see the guy play football.
"Unfortunate incidents" - geez aren't you the apologist.
Stop the indiscretions and he won't receive the deserved criticism.

I wonder if their isa correlation between those who think Pell should have gotten off, and Greene's handful of supporters?

There is a PhD in there methinks.

This has nothing to do with sports law but everything to do with influence from a higher body. Deny all you like but this stinks to high heaven.

Give us your sports law back ground then. Oh that's right its I barrack for Collingwood so I'm right.

That’s even worse! Wakelin and Williams on the tribunal? Absolutely farcical. Not one but two ex Collingwood players. Absolute absurdity and rotten to the guts.

Furthermore Gill lambasts Connors for saying what he did and that the match review officer is doing a ‘great job’. Absolutely agenda driven. Wrong on all counts.

I agree, its the only reason he was given a fine in the first week of the finals.

Well that is a fair criticsm.

Just hope Toby that gets the message he can play great footy without resorting to underhanded acts of Thuggery. It would be a massive waste of his talent if he can never learn to control his on field aggression .

Your probably right but Grundy got fined $2000 for belting Danger Greene got a hefty fine so the issue was dealt with in the way of a fine. Now he misses a prelim for a incident not worthy.
