I question why Ed isn't calling for a supreme court injunction like he did when Dermott suggested Cotchin would get cited and miss the 2017 GF due to having strikes already in play.

No, some of the decisions at the appeals have gotten off. QC Pane's prosecution was more laborious according to Riley Beveridge from afl.com but obviously more effective than the defense. He kept on referring to the footage that's been uploaded in this thread. Despite all the web of lies coming from Greene's defense, the prosecution was far more effective by just showing the footage.

I feel bad for Brisbane. He should have been rubbed out the week before and Brisbane would probably be playing tomorrow, not the Giants.

It staggers me that anyone can see all the videos of the Neale incident and not think he should be rubbed out. Anyone who thinks he was going for the ball is lying to themselves.

Zero sympathy for Brisbane. They only had themselves to blame for losing that final by appalling finishing in front of goal.

I would like to think Fagan and The Lions players aren't sulking from Toby playing and work even harder on their goal kicking conversion over summer.

They may be very well be better off losing that game in the long run, from an educational POV.

Amazing how people are so willing to leap to the defence of a bloke attacking face and hair of prone opponents who can’t fight back. The Bontempelli incident was pretty disgraceful.

Wouldn’t have had an issue with him playing as you do want the best players playing in big finals (and it would have been interesting to see a Maynard match-up), but it wasn’t a conspiracy of the saucer people and reverse vampires that saw him rubbed out, it was his own lack of discipline and repeated dirty play.

1 - Spot about the MRP. Needs to revert to a three person panel and start showing a lot more consistency and transparency in their verdicts.

2 - I am a big Toby fan, but clearly he has to change the way he plays footy/neuter his aggression if he wants a long term future in the game.. Ita all a matter of self-control and discipline, I hope his teammates and coaches read the riot act to him and explain how his selfish lack of control has cost them big time.
I honestly think he can change, but it's all up to Toby and his mindset. I hope he isn't sitting on his ass feeling sorry for himself, he should be remorseful for both what he did to Bont and Neale, and for letting his teammates and GWS supporters down. Time for GWS to show him some tough love.
