Your side was the only club in the position to make that call. They tried to trade pick 1 for Boyd. They were scared off because of the money it would take to land him IIRC. Fair enough too. It's worked out for us luckily.

Mason Cox has shown more as far as im concerned.

They are paying a million a year to develop him and probably wont see anything for 2 more years at least. What a waste.

Could have got an established key forward for that price.

Don't even try to compare the two. Treloar is their best player, Boyd is terrible and doesn't look like making your team in the near future

Boyd struggled to get a kick in the NEAFL. I am not surprised he is struggling to get a kick in the VFL. The only thing I am surprised about is why the hell the Bullies traded for him in the first place. He would've needed to play well beyond what he had shown (at the point he was traded) to justify even half of his contract. It was just a bad trade. A shocking trade. Now he isn't even playing AFL, and he is starting fights with his teammates. It is just getting worse for Boyd. I feel he is only getting a VFL game on name as well. What a debacle.

And this is only up to around page 30.

And people wonder why dogs fans are so satisfied with how Boyd played on the biggest stage of all, in a Grand Final. You would never guess the kid only just turned 21.
