One thing we know from the past 8 years is TDK isnt a forward.

Marshall better be happy playing CHF. Guessing he’s not.

Weird choice to spend 1.8m x 8 years on a ruck, within a team with so many very big holes.

SOS will need a shot of insulin after this one.
Marshall is contracted to 2027. Does it matter what he's happy doing? If he's on the list and asked to play forward he will.

I think the interesting thing with TDK will be to see how he goes with some half decent coaching.

So they can tap to that middling midfield?

As Bob Dylan sang "The Times They Are A-Changin'"

Nasiah now is in the AFL Top 5/10 Players, and Max Hall's recent form has been outstanding as well with his form since mid-season also seen him ranked in that period as one of AFL's best and most damaging players. While Nas got all the glory for the Saints win over the Demons, it was Hall's last quarter in the midfield that did the most to win the game.

The St Kilda midfield with the injection of Nas and Hall, has gone from pedestrian to very good. Both Nas and Hall, are quick and are very damaging ball users. Two qualities that yes our midfield has lacked for a while.

Phillipou, Garcia and Boxshall will also be part of the changing of the midfield brigade going forward.

Nobody is putting your midfield in the top 8 of the comp.

He's not that talented at being able to direct his hitouts consistently.

He might get the "hit out", doesn't mean it will necessarily go to his own players.
You seem very invested in posting about a player who isn't that talented & is inferior to the great Marc Pittonet.

If Saints lose to GWS then look for SOS to bid on Harry Dean ... before Blues 1st pick (TDK compo) ..... or very possible another team could :thumbsu:
Ohhhhh man….the amount of irony that would just be oozing from a move like that from one of Carlton’s all time fav sons AGAINST them ….

-Me watching trade tracker on the AFL app as the bid comes in…

Given TDK form has gone downhill as a result of pressure about his decision, how bad will he play next year when Saints are struggling and blaming him for taking the money that should have been spent bolstering their weak midfield and forward line
Well no difference to Hawthorn who are apparently offering Harley Reid 2 million a season he hasn’t exactly handled the pressure great has he .

SOS 100% will bid, nothing surer.
I expect us to bid on every Academy f/s and NGA kid we can!!, why play nice guy?, why help another team get stronger on top of the borked rules

He can ask but I highly doubt Geelong would be willing to pay what we want which will be there first even at 29 his to good of a player to trade for any less . His contracted the only reason we would push him out is if we want to play Dodson as second ruck to get games into him
I think the cats would be open to trading their 1st rounder for Marshall
They are in their window and its all go for them the next 2-3 years

West Coast could be another option and he would get paid well and they have the exact pick that would get the deal done
Hawks 1st rounder

I feel like because got the sack he might have a vendetta against Carlton,
like "I'm going to take one of your better players"

He definitely has a vendetta against Carlton - shame as it’s likely influenced Jacks’ attitude also.

Having said that, SOS always coveted the big fish, he aimed for the prized trades rather than manage a premiership winning list profile.

Nothing seems to have changed.
