I think Lucas will now slide to the eagles pick. I think we are more likely to pick up martin or cunnington.

I'm not too sure who i'd choose out of those two.

Both are excellent kicks of the footy, and accumulate good numbers week in week out. I watched Cunnington play against the jets about two weeks ago. He has about 30-35 touches and was crisp with every touch. He slipped forward for the last 10 minutes of every quarter. Ended up kicking 5. He was very impressive over head and could very well play AFL from day dot.

Martin on the other hand has an amazing kick and excellent decision making skills. They'd be even in my books. I personally would go after one of these two rather than Rohan simply because Cunnington and Martin are ready made footballers whereas Rohan is a bit more raw, very similar to Sam Wright last year.

do u think we could trade hale to the gold coast for picks 1 and 2

the swallow darling combo would be nice to have in 2011

I've seen Tapscott up close, and there is a reason there is so much interest in him.

He has one of the best kicks of a young kid i've ever seen. He has a superb footy brain and his footy skills are fantastic.

The reason he isn't getting talked about as a top 5 pick is because he still doesn't get enough of the footy during a game and he is still a bit one dimensional. Whoever picks him up (likely pick 5-12 somewhere), if they can develop him well and implement some speed and versatility into his game, then he could be anything.

Having seen him a few times this year too, I'd mostly agree but I think the speed is a concern, I think he is quite versatile - having him seen kick goals, and also play across the backlines. He's not an athletic type, he's a strong, big guy. It's his football brain and his total disregard for his own safety that I like so much about him. When he tackles people, they take a little while to come back up.

Sounds like the guy who wears #19 for us.
