Redpath has it all over White as an AFL player.

Red is one dimensional, lacks in areas that should be real strengths for him and he's not a great fit next to our million dollar investment, but he's got a mean streak, he doesn't let a bad start turn into a bad day, he's a decent kick, makes second and third efforts, and he cares about and looks out for his teammates.

Maybe if White had even one AFL standard trait in his game, he'd be a more appropriate 'fit' for our side, but if I had to pick one or the other, it's Big Jack every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

That's the sad thing. As one dimensional a player as Red is, he still has more to his game than White. That says everything you need to know about White.

In an ideal world Redpath wouldn't be on our list because we'd have a better depth option avaliable.

I'm more than satisfied with Redpath as our depth kpf prospect. 19 goals from 12 games ain't to be sneezed at and he hustles and bustles, doesn't waste the pill either.

Go back and watch him in round 1- bloke improved rapidly this year.

It's been great for Toyd. We got a combined 35 or so goals from our true kpfs this year, and with stringer that's what you need, structure and contribution

Big Red is no Wayne Carey , but he is far from the worst forward going around in the competition.

I must admit I was very impressed by his U18 highlights package: appeared to have all the attributes: height, speed, marking. Sometimes the physical attributes however, run a poor second to motivation, character, work ethic etc. I guess that's why we employ experts to do the recruiting!
