Smith wouldn't cost that much pick-wise. He's 32 next year and his main asset is his running, which will inevitably worsen as he ages. I wouldn't expect any more than a single 3rd rounder, but more likely I think he costs even less. How much would Alex Keath, Issac Smith and Jamie Elliott cost us.
Alex Keath - Second round pick (600k /3y)
Issac Smith - 2 Picks in the 40s (400k/2y)
Jamie Elliott Free Agent
450k/2y with 3rd year trigger clause.
Get the feeling we have interest in Elliott.
Yes, we have the picks and money to pay for them.Hill bros

Elliott
Can this all be done?

Jordan Lewis upgraded the Hawks pick 57 to 48, while Mitchell gave them pick 88. Lewis was a year younger than Smith is now

Jong and Dale wouldn’t get you much unless Dale has a seriously good end to the season. For me players who we should consider trading include Williams, Jong maybe Dale. Obviously this depends on who we have coming in but Williams and Jong are both on the table.
There are others I’d consider but I’d dare not name them. One name in particular I’d consider for the right deal.
McStay signed a contract extension during the week, plays forward, and would be the worst kick on our list anyway. Both McStay and Keith are out of contract - very good players but gettable as we give them future defining contracts.

Jong is contracted so yep I’d hold onto him if nothing arises.
Agree with Dale assessment. Wait and see on form and then what other teams offer.
Williams is out the door for me. I’m a fan but the depth in his best position is super strong. Let’s see if he helps us get Keith.
I would definitely keep Williams.
Retire Sukling and I would play CD forward of centre.
Williams has good attributes for HBF. Kicks well, evasive, more than handy in the air and reads the tempo of the game well.
I’m a fan also but it’s a role you can fill quite easily.
We have done a great job getting Crozier and Duryea as cheap pick ups.
Unsure if Caleb ever plays back in the middle/forward.
Keath would cost the 600k but will be a 4-5 year deal to bring him over. Pick range is about right. If Williams goes then it would be Williams and a 4thHow much would Alex Keath, Issac Smith and Jamie Elliott cost us.

Couple of Facebook rumour pages linking us, Carlton and North to him. Probably stolen from a rumour on here as alwaysWhere has this Elliott talk come from?

I think we may need to be a little more daring this year so if the right offers come in for players like JJ or Williams then we should seriously think about them. The hawks are renowned for it hence why they have remained a finals team for so long. Thoughts?
Club wouldn't be actively shopping him. Only way we'd lose him is if he requests trade home to SA, which is a possibilitySuckling, Duryea,mWood, Crozier are all out the door in the next 3,seasons- trading Williams is crazy!
Not only that he is only 22 and can play wing, mid and possibly forward eventually. With Picken, Boyd and likely Webb and Jong finishing what is the reason for ditching him?

Out of curiosity what is the AFLs minimum wage?
Where is Crozier going?
