I hate how these pages cross over and clash with periods. Should let this one run until AFTER the entire 2020 off season, regardless how many pages it reaches. Then start a clean one, 2021 Trade and List Management Thread, then 2022 List Management Thread, etc. Keeps it cleaner, than having half a season and off season in one, and then a half in the other. Easier to look back on and find things too.

Mofra you mentioned in another thread about sliding from 13 to 18. The article outlining the four club deal mentioned it too. How does that trade look? What else are we sending, what else are we getting?

Saints have 18 and Bruce which is too much for 13 and 13 might be more than Saints are willing to pay for a Howard/Ryder package.

In apparently a quite even draft after the first two, I’m kinda confused and annoyed at our stubbornness with pick 13. Why does this club constantly feel the need to make me panic and worry? Can’t we just do simple trades and hold a lead for a season or two? Just try it Dogs, see how it goes. Your fans will love you for it.

To be fair, reckon 18 and Bruce for 13 is balanced. 32 for Keath, leaving us with pick 18 as a first rounder along with the later picks.

What’s weird here is 4 places are holding this up. Bruce and Jones both valued at 28 in that deal. 4 places off the current deal we are offering to st kilda (which could be placed in the same 3 way).

Adelaide just ream us in it. It’s a terrible deal on that basis.

Adelaide want to **** us for Keath, a player that is uncontracted, injured and has only played well for a short time. The other part of the deal is entirely peripheral and what it tells me is Bruce will get done without worry (given the valuation is so very close to our offer)

2 key player for dogs would put them up in premiership contention.
Doesn't seem like a year you really need 13

2 players not worth a first rounder DO NOT equal a first round pick.

We have a second rounder and 3 third rounders. That is more than enough to satisfy each club individually.

Keath maximum worth a late second or two thirds.
Bruce maximum worth a second and a late third.

We have all those picks available. We don’t need lots of late picks, we have great depth. We want 1 early pick and that’s it.

Take 32 out of that deal and it would be much closer. Keath is worth **** all, not a 10 pick upgrade to 13, a 4 pick downgrade to 32 and 51. Ridiculous suggestion

If we are talking to port now, maybe it's to package our 3 3rd round picks into their 29, then 29 for Bruce and 32 for Keath 9plus possible future 4th coming back to us.
That way we still keep pick 13 and 2 very late picks (rookie upgrades, or Kellett / Liberatore F/S). Thoughts?
