Good delistings.
would you still take rotham with that pick?

Do you think rotham can play midfield?I was in the Big Footy Trial Mock Draft I was picking for WC....... its on the Draft and Trading Board in Phantom Drafts.
I actually took Guelifi with pick # 50 our third round pick.
Here is what I wrote some months ago.
Selection # 50 West Coast .
Matt Guelifi. 184 cm 78 kg. Inside Mid. Claremont
At this juncture in the draft I am not going to speculate on kids that, quite frankly I haven't seen enough of over a player I have seen a fair bit of .
So the Claremont Colts tackling machine is a good option here. Matt has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months.
He is averaging 26 possessions in the colts and is a high tackle count exponent. He has an instinctive hunger for the contested possession. Tough and determined at the coal face. Good extractor and not lost on the outside either. Plays like a slightly smaller version of Scott Selwood however his disposal ( unlike Selwood ) is very tidy and he hits targets regularly over a variety of distances.
He made his senior debut for Claremont last weekend and certainly didn't disappoint. I like both his tenacity and his work rate and I believe he has the skills and determination to make it in the AFL.
FYI I took the following in the trial Mock.
Pick 14 . Rotham.
Pick 32 . Atley
Pick 50 . Guelifi.
Pick 68 . Strnadica
Pick 86 . Jye Bolton
I have taken the memory off thursday out of my head (after i sat their in the dark drinking till i passed out) but i hope they watch that game over and over again. a small crumber would have netted us a couple of goals and might have even got us going early. Our forward line is too one dimensional and theres no plan b when the talls are negate.Good delistings.
Let's hope it doesn't end at the rookie list.
Not a chance in hell we will draft Liam Ryan and you all know it.
WC doesn't draft crumbers I'm afraid - doesn't matter how good they are.
Adamson wasn't even taking a list spot was he?Put it in perspective, Adamson was showing potential but clubs need to move on, Leigh Kitchin from Subiaco via VIC is around the same age dominated a WAFL final today with 15 contested possessions and many clearances..... not on an AFL list and would be a better prospect then Adamson , Kitchin wont get picked up at 25 yrs of age either and would be a better player .
I hear Collingwood has offered a two year deal for Wells but what makes you think we have any interest ?Wells has been offered a two year deal from you guys. Has a number of other clubs interested as well, north continuing to lowball him, both with wage and length of contract.
Not too sure why you guys have been linked to Petrie. He is absolutely cooked. He was cooked halfway through this year and really should have been dropped but Brad doesn't have the balls to make that call. May have happened if Waite had of stayed fit. If you do pick him up I could see him having more impact as a ruck than as a forward. You can always rely on him providing a contest but his contested marking/tackling pressure declined way too much this year for us to justify his position.
Don't think Majak would leave to go interstate, he has resisted offers from Brisbane/GC over the past 3 years. If he does move on (which would be pathetic list management on our behalf) I'm tipping it would only be to a Melbourne club!
Best of luck next year. It was a dog of a weekend for us both.

.
would you keep pick 12 or down grade? Not necessarily as there are some Vic Metro kids that have come on very well after the Championships that I am keep an Monocle on. ( I know... I will show myself out )
But having said that Rotham is in a cluster of about six players who I have being " of interest " for my thought on our first rounder.
Let's just hope it's a sign of things to come
Well not with that attitude ...im not too sure about well tbh. would have been perfect if we are a contender next year but i cant see us being one next year.
I love Griffen eagles rule but I am not sure where he plays at AFL. I see him as a utility, quite mobile, very aggressive, very good contested mark. How do you rate Griffin Logue ?
I wouldn't be unhappy if we took him with our 1st pick .
That's a bit sad about your Thursday night coping strategy (I personally sat drinking till I passed out, but the light was on still).I have taken the memory off thursday out of my head (after i sat their in the dark drinking till i passed out) but i hope they watch that game over and over again. a small crumber would have netted us a couple of goals and might have even got us going early. He reminded me a lot of Tom Langdon from the Pies whenever I've seen him play.I love Griffen eagles rule but I am not sure where he plays at AFL. I see him as a utility, quite mobile, very aggressive, very good contested mark.

Bit disappointed they decided to delist Adamson - thought they may have given him one more year to see if he improves enough to get a game at top level.Channel 7 yahoo reporting the eagles have delisted 6 players already.
Mcginnity
Waterman
Lucas
Adamson
Bennel
College
The cull begins

"Patrick McGinnity - who has played 93 AFL games since being drafted in 2008 but only three this year - was the highest-profile casualty while Jamie Bennell and rookies Kane Lucas, Brant Colledge, Alec Waterman and Corey Adamson were also shown the door."
