A good mantra at that. We should set the bar high for good character at our club.I think the "no dickheads policy" was a Phil
Walsh mantra.

Love the idea of Clurey but he's still a little too nice and timid for my liking. I'm all for him and Jonas duking it out over PS to get some more aggression into Cluzza. This pre-season should be brutal between Jonas and Clurey imo.
This is what I posted in July. Believe it's still relevant now aside from a couple of the kids at the very bottom. Bonner, Palmer, Frampton are keepers:
We should put a stack of senior players on the trade table and look to trade 2 or 3 that give us the best possible draft picks. The delistings then depend on who (if any) were traded.
On the trade table for me would be:
- Jonas
- Young (for a really good offer)
- Ebert
- Sam Gray
- Ah Chee
- Toumpas
- Polec
- O'Shea
- Lobbe
- Hoff
- Neade
- Broadbent
- Clurey
- Amon
Would trade but realistically no value / Delist based on who gets traded:
- Carlile
- Stewart
- Hoon
- Butcher
- Schulz
- Krak
- Kane Mitchell
- White
Would trade but realistically nobody would take on contract:
- Hammer
Not for trade:
- Boak
- Wines
- Pittard
- DBJ
- Hombsch
- Austin
- Trengove
- Robbie
- Chad
- Ryder
- Dixon
- Impey
- Dougal
No opinion as I've never seen them:
- Palmer, Frampton, Johnson, Snelling, Hewett, Houston, Bonner
If we traded a few of them, even for 2nd / 3rd rounders, we at least increase our odds of finding some draft gold.

Fair enough. I love Ebo's work ethic and combativeness but his kicking is symptomatic of our current skills problem. You're right though, it'd be controversial. Not much I'd disagree with..... I probably wouldn't trade Ebert unless it was a too good to be true type trade.
Totally agree and PUT body on the line continually. Thought he really turned the corner from the Melb game when he was or appeared to be given specific jobs as in run with roles. Thought he had a bloody good year! There is no way ebert is on trade table. Hinkley goes before him. He is a work horse who had a poor 2015, but 2016 was much better.
Sam Gray is tradeable, with Young people are thinking "he's at the height of his value and is replaceable blah blah".. Ebert no way.No way I would be trading Ebert, Sam Gray or Young.
Young especially, don't understand why on earth we would trade him.

Is it true Monfries has never kicked as many goals as Young did this year in regular season? heard something on the radio, 6 years Younger careful what you wish for.
Yea I think Gus played finals that year I'll have to look it upGussy's best year is 39 goals.
Youngy 37.

Yep both 21 games so the finals for gus is irrelevant.. still he was playing in a functioning forward line & not spending the time Young does in the midfield.21 games I reckon.
His 1st season with us.
and Gus got better service delivered in to him than poor Youngy hasGussy's best year is 39 goals.
Youngy 37.
Hammer to Adelaide will NOT be happening.
How about Randy Rhodes for Eddie Van Halen?
rarely do you see him get beaten !!!!
your opinion pal, when fit he is easily the best defender out of that groupYou living in 2014 or?
I can't make that trade.
But you are going to burst your salary cap as Dimebag wants a payrise.
