I could only dream of having a team in the top 1000 after 7 rounds, using only 2 trades! Would have had to nail every rookie and most premoes and have barely any injuries.

Say you have $0 in the kitty, average rookie is worth around 300k, trade 1 and upgrade 1 leaves you with a 483k upgrade. How are you generating all the cash? Unless you aren't bringing in the best of course.

Yeah I have copped it bad this year injury wise.

Now I am copping it with backline carnage this week with Laird, Boyd and Adams missing.

Look at this star studded backline I am fielding this week - Shaw, Simpson (then gets ugly) ---> Tippa, Brown, Bryne-Jones, Brand (Laird, Boyd)

Ideally you get a few of those upgrade targets at their lowest ebb. Balances things out a bit. If you're bringing every premo in at full value you're ****ed.
