Trades- Round 3

I also agree, i looked into the differences of the 2 players and chose to trade for Curnow instead of Libba.
On 2nd thoughts, I'm gonna go with Curnow as well. I can't afford to have no emergencies next week, as I already have Boyd and Bewick.

Seriously? Carrots and McLean still have to come back into the baggers midfield - you think Curnow will hold his spot over those guys?

What to do, What to do.
One $300 hookerbot or 300 $1 hookerbots?

Seriously though, help please :)

Trade Foley for Heppell
Heppell to mid for Hibberd
Upgrade Everitt to Enright

Leaves me with
Midfield: Swan Selwood Swallow Boak Harris Libba/Curnow/Swallow
Defence: Gibbs Grimes Deledio Enright Goddard Lower Heppell

or

Trade Everitt for Heppell
Upgrade Foley to O'Keefe

Midfield: Swan, Selwood, Swallow, Boak, O'Keefe, Harris
Def: Gibbs Grimes Goddard Deledio Lower Heppell Stanley

I'm thinking option one. I seem to have good midfield cover whereas defence I'm not super confident in. Also I will not make the trades until teams are finalized of course.

Um, Carrazzo has played both games this year?

Most likely not however by the time they do muscle him out he may have already made you some serious $$$. He doesn't have to play 20+ games and the fact is he looks a really nice fit in the blues mids.

Glad the kid got his chance.

Didn't Carrats play last week?

Hey All,

Thinking of 2 trades this week.

Foley --> Libba

Hibberd --> Curnow

The only issue with this trade is that in Round 4 my midfield will be,

Swan, Harris, Swallow, Curnow, Prestia, Libba (not playing) (Emerg: Boyd, Montagna & Bewick)

Is it worth downgrading Swallow --> Curnow in lieu of Hibberd so I keep my DPP and make money, but I lose Swallow who could be a very good cash cow.

What are people's thoughts?

Much Appreciated

He's played both games, tagged Deledio out of the round 1 game against Richmond.

Got a Problem with my Mids i have

Swan , Bartel , Montagna , Ward , Shiels , Krakouer
with Conca , Harris , Swallow on the bench

I was hoping Shiels failed and i could of traded him for a Libba or Curnow and free up cash to upgrade Jolly in the rucks to a Sandi or Ryder
But after Cracking 125pts 2nd game and 75 in the first game so its hard to trade him out now , also Ward has been pretty good getting 91,86 scores.

Now do i just for get about getting in a Libba or a Curnow ?
and just trade Jackson trengove who i have in the backs whos sitting on the bench to a rookie backman and use the cash get Jolly to Sandi/Ryder

- Getting Libba in will clash with Ward+Montagna in round 4 byes

What are your thoughts

IMO - trade trengove to rookie cause his just sitting there wasting money on the bench and that will be my cash to upgrade Jolly to Sandi or ryder (i already have cox)
and forget Curnow and Libba

^^^^

Conca to Curnow.

If I really, really need to win my league game this week is it ok to go A. Swallow to S. Pendlebury?

Definite Trade:

Foley > Libba/Curnow

Potential Trade:

Hibberd > Libba/Curnow (leaving Heppell in Backs and no DPP, also exposing a potential donut in Round 4 with Boyd/Bewick/Libba in Mids)

or

Hibberd > Toy (wait a week to see how Toy goes and/or if he is the sub again, then trade him in after round 3... Also allows me to keep Heppell in Mids for DPP)

My current opinion:

Not convinced with Curnow's job security but reward is massive if he continues, Libba I think will keep playing and scoring well barring any injury so will be a super cash cow, Toy looked excellent on the weekend so would expect him to be a starter from here on in and also scored a nice 53 from a quarter and a bit. Therefore leaning toward Foley > Libba and waiting for Hibberd > Toy. Downside of this is if Toy gets injured/subbed/fails and I miss the boat on Curnow...

Keep Hibberd Mark...he is and has been so close to playing...

Guys is this too indulgent??

Foley > Curnow
Yarran > Tapscott

thx fellas !

Ahh anyone??

Also, good idea to get Tapscott in but why get yarran after he has 1 awesome game and 1 bad one? Don't get the justification there.
Foley for Curnow is decent enough.

I have Hayes was wondering peoples thoughts on Sammy Mitchell seems to have been forgotten with the pendels and smurf hoohar. Could be a good point of difference too.

I am always afraid he will get tagged out of the game while someone like nds or Murphy seem to go under the radar. That's just me though

I think Sammy is behind hodge burger rioli atm in tagging order. The problem is I think teams can take him out of games by tagging like v port. But atm I think he's 3 highest possie getter after 2 rounds. One thing I don't like about Sammy v smurf is he doesn't go forward and kick goals as much.

Still very undecided about which way to go with this double trade. First year of Dream Team, and only in it for the league (but hooked already!)

Being new at this, I don't totally understand the price rises/falls etc to a high degree. So I'm just looking at some advice before I pull the trigger on some trades on Friday.

I have def locked in my first trade which will be

Out-Palmer, In-Libba
This frees up $217,000.

Next decision is what to do with Astbury. My two options are

a)Upgrade Astbury $197,400 to Enright $381,300, and leaving around $34,000 in the bank, or

b)Downgrade Astbury for McKernan. This would free up about another $100,000, giving me $317,000 to play with for my next trades.

Would love to be able to bring Enright straight in this week, but also think I could probably strengthen my team with 2 upgrades the following week, if I bank the cash.

Any idea on how much someone like Jesse Obrien would rise in price if he keeps up his average? Currently worth $145,300 and is averaging 70.
Also how about Enright. Will he go up by much?

Ok thinking of going:
Josh P Kennedy -> Shiels
Gamble -> Dawes

Main point of concern is Shiels JS? Better off going for Ward? Although I actually don't think I've got enough left in the bank to cover the tiny extra amount of $$ Ward is, plus I've already got Boyd and Libba in the mids.

Browncow: All depends, on your other cash cows on the bench. If already have 2-3 cash cows on each line then go to Enright, very solid performer, I've had him for years and never remember a score below 80. Plus I'm concerned with Mckernan JS. Enright won't go up much, alway hovers high 300's.

Gor: I would go Ward instead of Shields. Hawks have more depth and 1 or 2 bad games and he could be dropped. Ward is a star and won of my favourite players. Plus Ward will score big agianst GCS this week.

Is Cam Richardson to Luke Tapscott worth a trade. I'm think his JS is better and money making potential is much higher?

WCE-Phill, I have Heppel, Lower, Duigan, Stanley and Obrien in defence.
Kraks, Harris, Bewick, and will have Libba in mids, and have Darling, Matera and Richardson in the forwards.

My Obrien question was more in the hope that he would rise enough to maybe let me upgrade him to Enright next week, while also having enough cash left to maybe upgrade Fyfe(depending on his score this week) to Pavlich.
