I'm fairly sure it was Wednesday for a Wednesday and Friday main training, Saturday captain's run.
They've been on a break for the BYE - Cox posted a photo from Bali.

Fly had said they're having a break then they'll get back to work for round 15. I was wondering if they'd be back tomorrow perhaps.

To quote Fly thanks to PonsfordMagpie 's transcript

"Yeah, we'll have some time off. I think we've got 5 or 6 days off and then get back to work Monday week."

So back on Monday 19th.

Is this the same AFLPA mandated break all clubs have ?

Hope we haven’t taken the foot off pedal for too long

Yeah I reckon the week will go as follows.

They will be back monday. Game review. Light run.
Who knows what they do on tuesday lol
Wed training
thur day off
Friday main session
Sat captains run

Lol. I'd rather they have those extra 2 days than be rested for a game.

So you're saying if they have those extra two days, they wont be rested for the game....

so the other alternative is not to have the two extra days and be more rested....

is this like reverse psychology? or is it de goey psychology?

No I didn't say that at all. It was in reference to someone asking about the AFLPA mandated time off for a bye. Apparently they have 4 mandated days off. Our club, along with many others, I'm sure, are taking another day or 2 before returning to club training. Many, if not most do their own training during the bye regardless.

I don't think they are taking their "foot off the pedal" by taking an extra 2 days than the mandated days, as one poster suggested.

And if there is a choice between resting a player(s) for a match or having an extra 2 days away from the club, I'd prefer to take the extra 2 days because I think it's important to have match fitness and stability & consistency within the on field squad on game days.

Hubris. Cancerous hubris.
I'm now confused. I thought we wanted them to field our VFL team most weeks to freshen up anyone who didn't star the previous week?

well now i'm confused...so you think there's a choice between resting a player or having an extra 2 days off.....I would have thought that an extra 2 days would actually rest a player more.

So you're saying that you prefer an extra 2 days rather than resting the player more....once again, it seems that you're assuming that if everyone on the list gets an extra two days they will run amok and grab breasts and not get any rest.

No I really didn't say anything like that at all.

I simply don't think it's a big fkng deal if players get 6 days off for the bye instead of the mandated 4.

If science has taught us anything, it’s that doing anything other than literally flogging our players within an inch of their lives, is flirting with form and bound to end in ruination. There are no stars, only players with too high an opinion of themselves. No fresh players, only those who didn’t give enough to the cause.

So you're against dropping Moore and Daicos to get games into Ruscoe and Carmichael?

Didn’t we lose a GF Replay to north because Haley flogged the players within an inch of their lives whilst North took it easy?

I’m against dropping anyone unless it’s for poor performance. And in that case they should be made to run laps… around Australia.

No it was because he didn’t flog them hard enough. Collingwood’s Champion Data FIR stat (flogs in regulation) was way down that game.

That was propaganda from the anti-flogging Puritans, who also claimed it would make you go blind.
