Still dont think an ex barca player will play at madrid imo.

That being said if United get Sanchez it could turn us from a team that could only reach the last 8 of the cl to CL contenders.

I wonder if Ox and Sanchez get on well?

If LFC are in, I suspect it would be seen by the club as 'back-up' for any injuries to the Fab Free. They are obviously doing well. Mane is out of form, but really only compared to Salah. Firmino is really, really good. We love him. JK loves him. Dentists love him.

Sanchez doesn't seem like a Klopp player, due to his workrate, but how much of that is dissatisfaction with the Gunners and Arsene? Obviously Pep still wants him, despite him not being used enough at Barca for Sanchez' own liking. Jurgo loves competition for places and loves to improve players. That may appeal to Alexis. With Sturridge leaving, we lack a ready replacement should there be a major injury. Lallana and Chamberlain are the options, and then it's young players and strikers.

Hopefully he puts stock in the fact we tried to buy him when he went to Arsenal. Obviously he made the wrong choice there.

Of course the alternate thinking is that going in for Sanchez, and looking into getting Keita early, is all about signalling to Monaco that we won't pay overs for Lemar.

Sanchez isn't moving to any club to be a "back up".

His workrate is also second to none.

And made the wrong choice  Must have missed all those Liverpool trophies.

Yep, we just had this conversation at the end of the last page. I am just going off what others say. Sanchez always impresses me, but I don't watch full Arsenal games often.

The only way I can see Sanchez going to Liverpool is if he is interested in the Coutinho role. That would be the sell. Given he loves dropping deep, I figure that's potentially on the cards, but the press say he is going to Man U. They can still pay him heaps, and he'll start more games than at City.

by the looks of it sanchez's agent has been pushing the price up. alexis gets a big final payday, and if a transfer goes through in jan as opposed to a free at the end of the season, he gets a juicier cut.

it's a risk to 'let him go' to a rival. we've done it before with hazard, whom he might have gone to regardless. but if he comes to us or goes to united, im pretty happy with our attacking options regardless.

His workrate on the pitch is average at best. His desire to play and effort to continually work hard off the pitch is second to none.

This Sanchez saga is giving me a RVP vibe.

When Arsenal sold RVP to United that was the day Wenger gave up on the league.

If they sell Sanchez to United that's the day they give up on top 4.

Italian media still think Sandro could head to United. I still think he ends up at Chelsea though and it’s looking very unlikely that he will be staying at Juve past the end of this season

Everything agreed between Sanchez, United and arsenal apparently. Would be v surprised if Wenger allowed this to happen. Selling to United and Mou????

City are untouchable with or without Sanchez so that leaves 3 CL spots to fight for. Selling Sanchez to manu now turns 3 spots to 2-2.5. Wenger is a moron
