i cant see spurs getting Dybala - but itd be very interesting more so if eriksen wasnt sold

idk are dybla and lo celso that different? that are both false9s/tens types. No worlds apart

Is eriksen likely to stay? Who is Zidane buying to finish off his galacticos squad if they dont get Pogba? neymar maybe

If you go to the trouble of buying dybala surely you play him centrally? drop winks

yes they would

mahrez was 50 for the bench

i doubt theyd pass him up if available - more so if sane goes - i doubt Juv will let him go. They rather another crack of winning the CL with ronaldo/dybala. That said i dont know where he fits into sarriball
I thought Lo Celso was more of CM/CAM than second striker and I think Dybala fits in as false 9 and could play a similar role to what Mertens played.

You’re also right you have to play Dybala centrally otherwise he’s pretty ineffective out wide.

Come on kanga get excited. If you don't all the Dybala #9 shirts will be sold out on pre-sale before you can get your hands on one.
Is 21 taken?

Yeah you guys should really pull the trigger on him, he is class.

kangaspurs Dybala and Kane would be almost perfect. Only bested by a front 3 of Kane, Dybala and Bale.

Yep, exactly what we need.

Foyth currently, but apparently he could get 2 after Trippier left.

As a Juve fan, what's your opinion on Dybala? He seems to divide a lot of people. Some think he's one of the biggest talents in the world, others thing he's massively overrated. Reminds me a bit of Dele Alli in that respect. And regardless of the Spurs thing, do you actually think he'll stay and does he fit into Sarri's system?

Edit: Haha just realise that this is a silly question to someone with the guy as his av.

Also, if I was to think about this objectively, it would be hard to think of this as anything other than a step down for him given his current club and that his next move even a couple of years ago looked liek being to one of the Spanish giants.

He’s talented but he needs everything to go right for him to succeed. Positional flexibility is one of his biggest weakness. You’re hamstrung in the formations you can use when you have a set up around a small attacker who can’t play out wide.

But when he’s in the right system he performs well. He was scoring hatricks for fun at the start of the 2017/18 season. His greatest strength is probably his long shot so a system where he can get allot of touches centrally outside the box will suit him. Champions league he’s been hit or miss but he did perform well against Barcelona in a quarter final.

He’s coming off poor year this but that’s mainly due to Allegri’s poor offensive system. We could only score through either penalties or crosses against quality opposition. Dybala also got allot of free kick and penalty goals Ronaldo taking them up dried up his tally a bit as well.

Sarri said in his first press conference he wants to get the best out of Dybala and recently said he’ll use him as a false 9 and everything from the Dybala indicates to me he wants to stay, plus every move management has made has been to make as more marketable so getting rid of our second most marketable player would go against that. Though the constant links with Icardi worry me that we plan to sell him.

I think the top Spanish clubs have moved past him. They’ve all bought forwards this window if they really wanted Dybala they would have made a play this window.

I don’t think Tottenham is much of a step down if at all. Money wise I think he could get paid allot more there plus more exposure for him in premier league. I think the only draw back is no guaranteed champions league qualification. After making the champions league final I think you’ve moved up a rung.

They're only dubbing him that because he's brazilian and came from Hoffenheim. It'd be like dubbing every kid from Newell's Old Boys the new Messi.

Also because he's a record transfer signing they should be excited? Tell that to Fulham with Seri last year or Palace with Benteke.
I didn't rate Firmino originally, particularly when he was just another vanilla AM, but it became apparent quickly he had talent as a false 9 and blossomed into said role

Maybe this kid will do similar, wait and see
What’s all this about?
I’m sure this stuff gets worse each year.

Tottenham in talks with Juventus over £80m swoop for Paulo Dybala
Dybala to Spurs doing the rounds in England. It's good to be back among the silly season!
Dybala is an out and out striker though right? Even Man City wouldn’t pay £80m for a back up striker.

Just get Lo Celso done, that will be enough for us.
Dybala is more a second striker/#10. Someone who could play off and with Kane.
Dybala is pretty flexible all across the front 4, but I wouldn't play him up top as a line leader, Son can do that, but I don't think Dybala can

He'd be a mega upgrade on Lamela and Lucas though, probably a decent upgrade on Son too

It won't happen, he's too good for us imo, wonder who's sprouting this BS? Lel

I'm still not convinced and that's not because I wear blue. I think he's really helped by the players he is playing with. He tends to miss a fair few shots as well that he should make (whether they be on target or goals in general)

It’s like I say to the arsenal lads, it’s not 2004 anymore, there are new teams in town. These supporters need to start getting real

Fancy being a Spurs supporter and telling anyone the last time they were relevant. The last time Spurs won anything half decent, Alex Ferguson was in the 5th year of managing United and it was a couple of years before men wore tights.

Finally officially done

The announcement video on his Twitter is a bit of a shit stir, in silhouette he takes off a shirt, looks left and right, puts a shirt on, tries to get comfy and takes it off, puts another shirt on and steps forward in the Arsenal home shirt. Maybe he tried our third shirt on first but I know what Arsenal fans will think.

LOL
Cost more and is much much more s**t.

That dude seriously said... if you look at some of his YouTube videos. Hahah. The bloke knows nothing about the player but pretends he does. Apparently from watching his YouTube videos he is the sort of player who wants to be the main man. Wants the pressure and can thrive in it. Also he claims one of his qualities is that he is Brazilian.

That clip was ****ing gold.
