He’s reliable, and he’s not the only one reporting it. Bonkers.

Not that. He called it a “life-changing offer”. Jordan Henderson already has life-changing money. Just a weird thing to say.

Life changing is such a wank, hes already wealthier than 99.
99999% of the world and could setup up his next 10 generations.
It's all comparative really. If he's comparing it to what Henderson's wage has been, for Henderson that will be life changing.

If he's comparing it to what you or I earn (hopefully you earn more than me), the figures really don't make a huge difference at all.

But its still not 'life changing', that was changed years ago.

Hes just going from really rich to really really rich.

When the 20 billion the Saudi clubs have been given by the govt dries up, will these clubs then be required to be sustainable on their own and work under an FFP system, or is it going to be an endless amount of cash for a long long time?

DBAH0 I hope your medical team is up to scratch if you sign these two lol. Arthur played just 13 minutes last season and was our "midfield reinforcement" signing after we lost Ox/Keita/Jones to long term injuries at the start of last season..

Just because Juve are desperate to offload Arthur doesn't mean we actually want him, lazy journalism that.

Zakaria is a different story, Steidten is a fan, we want a loan with option to buy though and Juve are refusing to do that.

I reckon anyone who proposes a FFP system in the Saudi league will be summoned to the Turkish embassy to show their plans.

The Saudi league relies on the Royal family being happy to splurge government money on football for sportswashing reasons. The day they decide they no longer want to do that the league will collapse. It'll never be sustainable. Crowds are poor even with star players.

Was about to say this.

Saudi people dont actually care or really even like football. The club Gerrard is managing has like 3,000 members and gets a average crowd of 5k

Al Itihad (club Benzema joined) has like 50% of the entire leagues supporters and that support centres on the fact the person who runs and owns the club employs most of the supporters who turn up, and so it is a bit of like a job chore if anything.

Outside of Al Ithihad the fan base is basically similar to the A-League in size. Very small

The A-League would get massive crowds with the same player recruitment that the Saudi league has.

Well A-League could handle the bigger crowds too. The dumber thing is Saudi Arabias football stadiums are very sub par and small because no one has given a crap about football til this year. Al Ettifaq stadium where Gerrard is and Henderson wants to go has max capacity of 15k and it used to be a lacrosse/handball stadium before so its like really weirdly built where the wide areas is like dirt and dead grass and then the middle parts of the stadium turf fine.

Henderson probably knows he will injure himself on the surface and get 700k to sit in London playing Playsation or something is my bet
