Hmmm it seems you are making an educated guess at who I'm referring to. I didnt name any names did I?captain subtext said:You haven't really watched much of TJ this or last year have you.

gatsid said:This pole is useless because they wait till one player is out of form so that you are given no choice but to pick trav. It's like putting up a poll and asking who is better Josh Fraser V Michael Gardiner, well ofcourse at the current Fraser is better, but it is largely skewed because Gardiner can't get a game at the moment. That said, Jason Johnson is not the better ATM, but he will retire a bomber B&F winner, a premiership player, and have played in one of the best sides ever to play the game (2000), Where as Trav will leave never winning a flag, never playing for a great side, and I'm not 100% sure but I don't think he has won a melbourne B&F.

Why don't you wait till that actually happens, rather than saying TJ will do more than JJ has done. Just another desperate search for personal validation disguised as a Bigfooty poll.Lord_Travis said:He was the 2005 B&F!
And Travis isnt in great form. He is just going this year so far, but Travis just going is better than JJ in full flight
In regards to playing achievements, playing in a great side doesnt make you a great player. That means squat. He was lucky to be in the right place at the right time, and grab a premiership medalion, so good on him....but it has no bearing on him individually as a player whatsoever.
Travis will finish his career a better player than JJ ever was. Will likely be a multiple time B&F winner, as he has a good 6-7 years left still and still hasnt peaked!

As a Bomber fan I'm obviously biased but given that JJ has a chronic foot injury that will likely force him into early retirement, and has played terribly this year, so much so that he's been demoted to Bendigo, you'd have to vote for TJ - who is damn fine player when he's up and about. But given their disparate situations and style's, what is the point?
