Treloar's partner, Kim Ravaillion, recently signed with the Queensland Firebirds netball team and will play for them in the 2021 Super Netball season (which runs in line with the AFL season from April to September). Rumour is Adam is considering a move as well to play for the Suns. We know Treloar was chased hard by GC 12 months ago and the Pies briefly considered it. We also know he has struggled without his family in recent times and wants to be with his partner/daughter so logic would dictate he would consider moving to Queensland.
Pick 5 this year may actually get the deal done and has the added benefit of freeing cap space for the Pies to retain De Goey but it's also possible Treloar will see out the final year of his contract with Collingwood in 2021 and then seek a trade to Queensland. Either way, the rumour seems to be that this move will be on the cards at some point over the next 12 months. Although the Pies may live to regret it Joe Daniher style if they don't do the deal this year because they will likely lose De Goey and the Suns may not have a top 5 pick to give due to other trades and/or finishing higher on the ladder.
