What, and give you buggers carte blanche to spread absolute bullshit that others take as gospel? Not on your nelly.
Well don’t expect anyone to listen to you. You’re in the same position as everyone else in this, you know nothing except for what you’ve been told by someone who is guilty of being dodgy.

Whatever. Just let it go FFS. Clearly Carlton wanted him to guide them out of the abyss and then when he'd achieved those goals, they brought in a more commercial oriented person for the next phase, and now the 36ers have brought him in on the advisory board. He's not the basketcase you buggers insist he is. Nor is half the crap that people just seem to pluck from thin air and sprout as if it's 100% true. It's bullshit. It's character assassination. And it's childish.
They had me fooled, I thought they were still in the abyss.

He was sacked was he? Care to provide proof of that? And IF he was sacked then why on earth would have have been invited by the 36ers to be on their advisory board? Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

They haven’t tried to hide it

When Bruce Mathieson says he was sacked, he was sacked. Dumped

Caroline Wilson was having an on-air argument with SOS a couple of weeks ago on Footy Classified about his role in the sacking of Steven Trigg and she claimed that Trigg is still unhappy with how he was dumped.

He might have publicly "resigned", but behind the scenes he was abruptly given his marching orders so that Carlton could bring in Simon Lethlean

So you think Triggy resigned as CEO to no job, holding out for a potential advisory position at the 36ers. Oh Jenny.

So the media, who we constantly lambast in here as making shit up, is now all of a sudden telling the truth? There’s no doubt he resigned because he was told they wanted to head in a different direction, and that he wouldn’t commit to moving to Melbourne to see that through. Despite the constant efforts to denigrate him in here, he is clearly still regarded highly in the sporting community. He made a monumental mistake while he was at the Crows... he was penalised and served that penalty. Others have gotten over it. Time you folk did.

He wasn’t prepared to move to Melbourne. They wanted him to. Pretty simple really.

The CEO of Carlton wasn't living in and operating from the same state as the rest of the entire club?

That's pretty poor. No wonder he was sacked

I was one of the first off the Trigg bandwagon and it was long before the Tippett saga. I wish Trigg's only failing was the Tippett saga, but he did far more damage to the club than just that.

I don't wish any ill-will on him, but I don't ever want to see him associated with the club ever again in any capacity.

We as fans were agitators. Worse thing is forgetting the people who pay your salary.

Talking about off field. They were diabolically bad. Onfield is yet to materialise.
In what ways are they now significantly better off thanks to him?

If it's not on the field and by your own admission Carlton wanted someone more commercially orientated to take over, I honestly can't see much left where he could have such a profound effect on. The way I see it the two primary concerns of professional football clubs are their football and their money.

He voluntarily left Adelaide to then voluntarily leave Carlton because he didn’t want to live in Melbourne. Jenny is high

You do recall he led a membership drive but forgot to have the phones manned which led them to asking the AFL for cash?
They weren't expecting any calls and fair enough.

Bit rough to pin that on Trigg

I'd *love* to believe this, you know i would, but i don't suppose you have any actual proof? A link? Some tea leaves at the bottom of your cup?
you've said I and others are BSing so prove it.
