Looking at those pictures I am in awe of the power of nature, and the obvious strength of the water as it spewed onto the land, but also sickened as I see the helpless faces of people who are almost certainly no longer alive today.

Could be him... or one of the other thousands of people who were on that beach. If u watch the clip i posted check the boats just off the shoreline, they would've been smashed to bits.
The thing that gets me in the clips i've seen is the people thought it was just a wave or tidal surge & nobody really realized the whole Ocean was coming at them.
Apparently some of the waves were from 15 to 30 foot.
I really feel sorry for the 80,000 or so people who live on the Mentawaiis etc.. Apparently it's been totally swamped.

There is still a good chance Broadbridge is alive cos i heard that boats are out at sea collecting people.
Hope he's on a boat somewhere...

& if anyone has Quicktime here's another clip:
tsunami

thats exactly what his close family and firiends are banking on. They were hoping he was on one of the 2 ferries which picked about 1000 people up from the water, but he was not. We can only hope he was able to keep himself afloat, over the rushing water, and keep himself alive long enough to get picked up by a boat.

I've just heard that these tsunamis have caused the world's global time to go 2.5 seconds faster a year and has pushed Sumatra 20m across.
Both of the last 2 posts are quite amazing.

Im a believer of the meta-physical, and if true, then the fact no animals have been found injured or dead may become an interesting point for science in the future.

Is it possible that sea animals were able to communicate telepathically, intentional and conscious or not, to animals on the land that danger was coming.

And if so, why are humans so deaf to them.

I am listening to the U2 cd with the song... stuck in a moment... sorry I just had to say it... it is hope, or saying it has to be or whatever...

Like I said the other day, I think this is a place to say we hope that things can be okay in whatever way.

I am really feeling kicked in the guts about all this... I can imagine it is worse for everyone else. Sorry I just had to say it. Please forgive me. :)

I can crawl out but I don't wanna.

Animals know when sh*t is going down.

Humans are stupid.

well watching some of the video clips people were watching massive waves of water comming right at them. but in other cases the water just came from no where. pretty freaky stuff hapning all so quikly.

Watching ABC news here and just heard something absolutley phenomenal.

According to the ABC, not one single animal has been found dead in the destruction.

Not one.

It's a modern day 'Noah's Arc'
Shouldn't people be curious if their pet runs away... or climbs up a tree?

Has he been found yet???? Im sorry for the Melborune Fans, he did have great potential as a player. WHere was he again??

I think people have given up thinking he's on land. He's either on a boat or fighting for his life out at sea...

Those waves were so powerful...did u see that video of the people just filming the pool area and it's all calm then u hear this huge bang and u see this water splash up  it also bent thick steel from the train tracks

Meaning no one has found a dead or injured animal, implying they got out before the tsunamis hit the coastlines.

Implying THEY knew.

I heard there is also an island of tribal primitives living in the path of the tsunami, they all survived because they headed for higher ground as soon as they saw the water suddenly recede

How could they, they wouldn't have telephones... the Americans new an hour before the tsunami striked but because there is know way to communicate to the countries affected they had to sit back :( Surely they could contact the countries government or something  I heard the money Bush is giving to the countries in need is as much as he spends in 5 minutes in the Iraq war
