At least I had some excitement around my way today - I'd been thinking that I couldn't remember the last time I'd seen a Ferrari on the streets in Perth, but this morning I saw a flame coloured one just around the corner from my place!

Gah... Channel 9 should be shot, upload a blurro vision video with big obnoxious watermarking so essentially you cannot see anything.

You didn't break boober.
I broke boober.

... and it was fun.

(I'm sure Maserati guy would disagree but **** him)

How the **** do you go uber x and get a Maserati?

I've never really been a 'be happy at work' person, never understood it. It's just some stuff to do to make money, the more money the better and a sense of surety is nice too. I struggle to relate to people who feel any different.

You spend 40+ hours a week there and sure it won't all be rainbows and sunshine, but why not do something that's at least enjoyable and fulfilling some of the time?

What I find enjoyable and fulfilling is not something that's gonna pay the bills in a full time sense, I accept that. Like I said I lookout for better opportunities, but that nagging that people get about 'changing careers' has always been a foreign concept to me. If it gets me by it gets me by.

fair enough too, as long as you don't hate it that much that you dread going to work in the morning and have that constant looming anxiety

I sometimes wonder if people feel like that because of these expectations that work has to be fulfilling and everything else, that people are defined by what they do, it is outdated bullshit I reckon, rather than more acceptance in society and culture that it's ok to just have a job. It's like some sort of emotional reverse swing.
