Pride mode alone makes me want to buy a Xbox or PS3 and get this on the release day.

Liking the Pride mode.

Didn't like EA MMA, but the different rules and ring types really did help its case. Good to see it will be in Undisputed 3.

This is the first video I have seen so far, going to have to go get some more info on it. Looking forward to seeing how they improve the career mode, needs some improvements. Hopefully you start off in lower ranked organisations. Maybe after a few good fights ocassionally you get offered a spot on the Ultimate Fighter, that could be interesting.

Only North American's can sign up for the PS3 alpha unfortunately. Once signed up, you have to reply to emails from THQ and other stuff regarding testing, but basically you get to create a welterweight fighter and fight online with him. No vids or screens allowed either obviously. Runs for 2 weeks and I'm pretty sure it only started today, so get in quick if you want a key

From the little I've seen (still d'ling mine), it looks very much similar to UFC Undisputed 2010. Still impossible to hold a guy on the mat for longer than 30 seconds and just generally looks to play out rather 'arcadey' compared to EA's MMA (which wasn't perfect either, but was more realistic IMO).

After playing the Alpha a lot more I stand by my post above. Sim mode in this game kicks ass, I really hope it's an option for ranked online matches once the full game comes out. Once you master the controls (which I'll admit are hard as hell to master, especially if your not an MMA fan like I am) and you come up against a similarly skilled opponent, the fights that take place are just incredible.

Some other changes people may be interested in are;

- The ability to take an established UFC fighter through career mode and change up or down a weight class at any time.
- Play Pride mode (including kicks to the head of a grounded opponent).
- Much improved ground game and clinch game including new swaying motions for when you are rocked on the ground and trying to avoid a stoppage and also many types of cage clinches.
- Leg Kick TKO's! (though rare)
- Broken bones...although I haven't seen it yet (have heard one case of a broken leg after a guy checked his kick)

There's tonnes more as well.

Demo comes out this Tuesday (U.S time) and I highly recommend it if your an MMA fan. There's also free DLC for Alistair Overeem on the UFC Undisputed 3 Facebook page (although that offer may have expired by now...?)
