LMAO ... Sam Newman pointing out that the free kick paid to Rance late in the game as the Dockers were going forward was absolutely wrong. Well spoken. It works both ways.
No one here cares, this is a thread for Richmond fans to shit on the umpires, we dont care what frees were paid or not paid to oppos or if a free was wrongly awarded to Richmond, we are getting ripped by the umpires this year and we are going to voice our displeasure and if that pisses you off then stiff shit.
For someone who thinks this thread and Richmond supporters are embarrassing, you sure do post in here a lot.

Sam Newmen is a known Richmond hater, we didnt get him from the cats back in the day and he missed out on a flag as a result

Lol give this man a cigar

What a **** wit he was , there was high contact , of course it's a free , why didn't he comment on the shepherd that overruled the goal ,,,

His point was Rance had unfairly impeded his attempt to lead, which he did. The Docker hit him high, but the ump missed the initial free.
It was a fair point.
I can't answer the Jack question, but I guess it just proves decisions generally even out. They miss some, they catch some - it's the nature of the game.
BOTH teams benefit and BOTH teams gain at different points, which is the point I have been trying to make.
Richmond does not have a mortgage on being disadvantaged by umpiring decisions, nor a mortgage on being on the end of mistakes.
And I as I have said all along, the Caddy goal being denied was offset by Grey's goal being called a point when it was clearly a goal.

And if what I post here pisses you off, stiff shit too ;) I'll keep posting!

Grey's shot was a clear point IMO, I had the perfect angle at the ground and looked to me straight over the top of the post. Very unlikely a review would have overturned umpires call.

No one is sweating the 50/50 calls, just the extreme WTF moments like the Castagna and Riewoldt calls, deliberate OOB for a forward in his forward line chasing the game, and goal line shepherd judged as a marking contest.

Will be unlikely to see either call again this year.

Surely bagging umpires is just part of our great game, the real problem is our rules keep changing and to few are black and white, it may just be the old Richmond curse but there is no doubt we have been on the end of some terrible decisions at crucial stages of games this year.
Its not how many frees you get that is important, its when and where you get them or in our case dont get them.

Let him troll away...

We agree twice in one evening. Twas disappointing I was watching that - and certainly not a regular by any stretch.
It was more on in the background as I was working!

Spell checker says "moron".

You're ****en kidding me so the goal that I haven't seen is one that that went over the post , HTF would anyone have a better vision than the goal umpire underneath it ,,,,,honestly if that's all you got , give up now

You don't get it mate, every loss is because 'we are shit', and even if we do win, we should have won by more. Not only that, the only mistakes umpires make cancel each other out (despite the differential) so we should all be embarrassed that we are not sticking the boots into the real culprits. Oh, and we should be secretly wishing that more opposition supporters would come here to hang shit on us complaining about the umpiring.

I guarantee you if we had won last week the guy would still be sooking that 'we are shit' whereas everyone else would have called it 'winning ugly' and saying we should have played like that for 4 quarters.

A shrink could make a fortune from this guy.

I have no issue of the umpires making mistakes in general play. No one cares that Cotchin was held off the ball in the first quarter. No one cares that Fyfe was blocked twice at centre bounces.. In fact, if that's where they are going to make the mistakes due to human error etc - I have no issue with it all. It happens every week, to every team. Some benefit more than others. However, when clear umpiring errors are made that result in a score, that is what my issue is about. If it is undeniably a free kick - I have no issue.

The Grey point was a clear behind according to a couple of supporters that were behind the goals and saw it live.

In the last quarter - Grigg missed from 35M, Castagna from 25M and Jack from 40M out in the last quarter. Both teams played 3 crap quarters. Walters and Hill ravaged our onballers. We played the worst 21 seconds in our history. We may have picked the wrong side at selection. I don't blame our loss entirely on the umpires, but they sure as hell gave Freo a 15 minute rub of the green that created the 6 goal lead.

My sources have it as a clear goal.

we have been reamed by the umps all year and its annoying especially the last 2 weeks when we should of won both games. just want the umps to be fair that bullshit call against jack happens 100 times a week yet we are the only ones penalised
Exactly!

The Rance tackled out of play twice was very blatant, the third quarter one was one umpires have let go for a hundred years.

Things I confidently predict this weekend.
Rain, hail, or shine ... if the Tigers get beaten by 60 points (hope not), 12 points, or win by 16, the usual suspects will blame it all on the umpires.
It will be their fault alone that we lost by 60, 37, or if it's closer they cost us a deserved victory. A win and it's 'imagine how much more we would have beaten them by had the umpires not reamed us'.
Groundhog day!

As for Goldy quoting Sam Newman, just a massive lol,the bloke hates our club's guts.

Let's get views from a bloke that hates the RFC.
Just lol,shakes head.

Same with Gary Lyon.

In the third quarter, the umps might as well have worn the purple jumpers.

YEAH, all media hates Richmond.
Yet, when he comes out next week and highlights a pair of terrible decisions against Dustin martin, you'll take it as gospel and use it as Exhibit A to bolster your case that the umpires have it in for us and have since 1980.
Like the swag of posters who post crap about 'Slobbo' or 'that Essendon d***' and then turn around when he writes a positive about Richmond and say 'I don't normally agree with Robbo but he's spot on the money on this one'.
Comical.
