yeh i heard bout that..pretty weak...i was talking bout the first win against hampton...good hard game....got up by 9 pts

yeh i was talking about both games and pretty much any game iv seen from ajax at any level or age. its as if softness is taught through the grades from a young age

the wind was a factor... but also monash fell away... the boys at hampton are fit.. and just over run the blue boys in the final quarter.. as they did last time they played.. they are a good team tho.. and will beat OH this week.. not by much but they should win. they will stretch the OH back line with there amount of talls. big keaty and ericson have big jobs this week coming.. and big benny hampton will kick a bag a half.

Let's not worry about the monash forward line, how about OH's, have been consistently been kicking big scores, points and goals the last few weeks and exposed monash's backline two weeks ago with height, strength and speed. OH to win, keady best on ground.

I won't worry about anyone's forward line until we come up against them. Keady best on ground? The only reason I even know that kid's name is because I played a bit of junior footy with him and recognised that rude pill. Otherwise, I would not. Both times we've played them, Keady has hung off the play and picked up cheap marks and cheap kicks. The only time he even got close to a contested possession, he got bumped off the play and completely missed out. Very little fitness and very little athleticism. If Keady is best on ground on any occasion, that doesn't say much for OH's style of play.

Dont worry about keady that kid can play, and id say toby will play. Hampton need to worry about Maz not Haileybury.. Preparing for week two already maybe?

hehe. no i don't think it comes from a lack of confidence, i think it's just a flagrant disrespect for keady. justified at that...

thats a negative on preparation for next week big fella, as next week we have a week off due to winning on friday night... but good luck to the boys of OH and to toby gil. hope the bloke plays and plays well... they need him to..

Heard on SEN that the lights on Sportscover Arena could be a bit faulty. Should the Mazenod-Rovers game (set down for Friday night) be moved to Saturday morning.....at the MCG.

.....and i still wouldn't bother going to watch it, would prefer to clean out my sock draw.

Just wondering though, are Mazenod going to be playing Pete Stanley and Jace Kelly. In other words, what's on their agenda, Senior finals or Under 19's.

Still up in the air with Pete and Jace, however Maz have a number of players i believe Hampton have not seen this year. Im sure its reciprocated on Hamptons side as well though.

correct... the team that hampton played with last time these teams meet. they only had 19 fit players with several better players out.. the team that lines up this friday coming will be very different... same with maz who will include their better players that missed last time.. but it's not about whos out.. it about whos in that matters...it goin to be a big one friday night..

Iv being told that we will be seeing them in the stands come 6:30 friday night, thus them lining up for the seniors the following day.

not a bad game friday night. hampton looked good early, but mazenod got on a roll in the second that the rovers never managed to reel in.
OH over monash! how was that one?

this is to k-time. Get over yourself pal. Your a cheap kick player and you know it. This is what k-time had to say to a team mate of mine during the game "do you know who i am?". Sorry buddy, but if u had said that to me i would have said yeah i know your a w***er. And thinks so does the entire Mazenod side and every other side in under 19's south. get over yourself and concentrate on playing good footy like the rest of the your team mates did. Hats off to Hampton they never stopped trying, but you don't need players with that sort of attitude in your side.

untill half time hampton were in it, but at that stage we had allready three blokes injured and out for the game. they just ran all over us in the second half. mazenod played very well, and hampton tried hard but there use of the footy was shocking!

This seems to be Hamptons excuse all year... everytime they lose or win a close game half their team is suddenly injured... only have "18" or "19" fit players to use... enoughs enough every team has injuries i know for certain towards the end of friday nights match mazenod had 4 players injured. Hampton has to suck it up its finals you go in with your strongest team and if you lose you should never make excuses .. lets face it Hampton was out played on friday night. And Mazenod showed class not to get caught up in Hamptons frustrations. But to hamptons credit most of their team never gave up and fought to the end.

Haileybury may be disqualified for playing an unqualified player (Anthony Wright). Which means Monash get a 2nd bite at the cherry. Im not sure how it works however since Haileybury seniors played round 18yesterday.

Dont know where your getting your info from mate but he played three 19's home and away matches, and two in the 1's and is of the right age. Read rule 51, 52 & 53 (i) of the vafa rules will show you he & the bloods are sweet.

Yes.....i thought that too and have since heard catorgorically that they are in strife. There's an investigation going ahead, dont' know what will happen but i know for a fact that they are in trouble. let's hope so because they looked the goods. Monash had their strongest side possible and never looked like getting close. I think they'd be happy getting within 33 points.
