Wondering whether to even bother with the replay? Would be mostly just to see how Wilshere and Eddie played.
I wouldn't bother unless you are a completionist, was a truly boring display. Penalty was very soft but it speaks volumes to say Coquelin had our best opportunity to score.

May be worth watching just to see the bizarre kit we were wearing.

Wilshere was pretty average and Eddie only got on for the last 10 minutes and had about 3 touches of the ball. Nelson did a few nice things after coming on.

Thanks lads, extended highlights it is.

Bizarre kit?

Bizarre kit?
Not one of the three recognised kits. We were wearing the blue away shirt with white shorts and socks with a blue trim. The normal away kit usually has shorts and socks that are the same two tone blue as the shirt. Didn't see any clash with the all red of Cologne. Also thought we wore the third kit (black with pink) as the away strip for Europe. Anyway, seemed a strange and unnecessary choice.

That certainly is very odd. Might have to find some pictures or an explanation as to why

Edit: found pictures of the kit. Whens the last time Arsenal played in a complete blue and white strip?
Also seems to be no reasonable explanation why the white shorts

Burnley are so ******* awful to watch, they keep talking up Dyche like he's the next big thing, but he's not doing anything different than the dour shite that Big Sam and Pulis have been doing for years. Glad we nicked it at the end, since Bellerin had a stonewall pen knocked back earlier.

On the other hand, we had no midfield creativity at all, Ramsey and Iwobi were a shower of shite, and Alexis cbf and wanted to be on the end of the ball rather than setting up. Wilshere didn't really do much, yet was miles better when he came on, that's how bad they were.

Two clear penalties - only one given.

Bossed them in the second half.

Yep, I thought the Bellerin one was more blatant (and also think Nacho was a tad lucky to get away with his shout).

But good outcome in the end, ground out a win the hard way. Into 4th now.

Wenger has already ruled out Ozil for Wednesday. I wonder if he’s ready to start Wilshere, especially with how Ramsey/Iwobi struggled this morning.

Dyche is Moyes/Hodgson MkII. Can overperform with a s**t club using defensive discipline and negative tactics, but put him in charge of a team that is expected to play football and give him a transfer budget and he would royally * it up.

Great to get a win at a place that has seen Spurs and Liverpool drop points, and even better to go above the spuds.
