After all is said and done we have the 4th best squad in the Premiership IMO.

I think more importantly, despite the fact that we didn't get the marquee signing(s) we were looking for, our squad did actually improve over the summer/transfer period.

Still would have preferred to keep Gnabry and sell Feo...

Do you guys think Ozil will claim the number 10 jersey now that Wilshere has left?

I have an Ozil 11 top, so I'd kind of like to see him remain in that. Plus it's a part of his identity at Arsenal. However, it seems a little silly that a top five CAM in the world doesn't have a number 10 on their jersey, especially considering it's available.

I know Wilshere will come back, but I doubt he'll ever live up to the potential we all thought he would. I wouldn't be against him being reassigned a different number.

While we're on the topic of numbers, Mustafi should be given Debuchy's number 2. He hasn't played for us in ages, and he doesn't want to be there anyway. I don't agree with the Martial/Ibra shit, but Debuchy/Mustafi is quite different, so I'd like to see it happen.

Holding took 16 didn't he? Mustafi wears #2 for Germany and wore #5 for Valencia, would be fine with either Debuchy or Gabriel being shoved to another number to accommodate him.

Wasn't a bad window for us, we bought in all the positions we required something, a worldie forward would have been really nice though.

Happy to see Wilshere go out on loan hopefully he can stay out on the park and play a lot of games.

Would have loved if they could have shipped Theo off too , surprising that debuchy and sanogo are still there as well.

Don't think we could have done much better with our CM and CB signings, Xhaka is going to be a great player for us as is Mustafi, holding looks a good prospect and think we have done ok with Perez especially for the price we got him at, hopefully he works out well for us, again if we landed that world class forward this window would have gone close to a 10/10.

Oh okay, I thought there was a little breathing space because the transfer period ends after the season starts.

I know domestically it's been done before, but I believe UEFA is pretty strict about it, so even if he did acquire number 2, he might have to wear an unused number during UEFA competitions.
