Should nab a result tomorrow morning. Hoping to see

--------------------- Cech -----------------------
-- Bellerin -- Mustafi -- Koscielny -- Monreal --
--------------- Xhaka -- Cazorla ----------------
- Ox --------------- Ozil ------------- Sanchez -
------------------- Giroud -----------------------

Subs: Ospina, Holding, Gibbs, Elneny/Coquelin, Iwobi, Walcott, Perez

Would be keen to see Ox scrapped, Sanchez at RW and Iwobi LW (ala similar lineup to late last season).

Yeah Id defiantly rather alexis switch wings and have Iwobi starting over Ox.

Yep. But it will be the strongest XI we've named this season regardless. Expecting a good performance, especially after all the rest and rotation for Southampton.

My only real memory of him was scoring 4 goals in a 6-3 win over Liverpool at Anfield in the league cup.

Yes and I recall thinking that was finally his 'breakthrough' performance, and he'll dominate from there on. Like Arshavin. But it didn't end well with either.

Ospina will play and concede a junk goal.

Coquelin is expected to start according to the French press.

Doesn't make sense. Of Xhaka-Cazorla-Ozil, the only omission that could make sense is Cazorla (if his achilles has flared, resting, etc.). In which case Elneny would have to replace him; not Coquelin.

Coquelin in would likely mean Xhaka out...so yeah, surely not.

Arsneal @ Sunderland

"it was a difficult night, they defended very well, it is a hard place to place especially when they get a goal off a set piece early and defend. I was happy with our spirit to at least get a point in the last few minutes.

Everton @ Sunderland

Lukaku, Lukaku, Lukaku , kill this game off in 15 mins and go home.

Didn't catch the game - anyone got a clue why we went in with such a shithouse lineup? Apparently we played terribly.

At least my app gave Mustafi quite a high rating, good signs.

1-1 is a good result to be fair.

Will watch the replay tonight, but sounds like we've done well to claim a draw. Appears they missed some easy chances and Ospina saved us.

Some strange selections though. Why is Xhaka not starting? Or Giroud? Odd.

Why went with such a shithouse lineup ? Arsene Wenger is our manager.

I think Coquelin atarted as it is one og tge few times hr will be able to play in Francefor Arsenal.

Really poor performance, 2nd half was much better (especially when Giroud and Xhaka came on). Only Cavani being a total spud and some heroics from Ospina saved us from a considerable defeat. Very happy with the point though.
