We have improved on previous meetings with them and they have declined slightly, but they are still the superior football side.

As bad as it we descended to a position where we had to start Sanogo, for that first ten minutes at the Emirates we were as good as I've seen for a long time.

That penalty was awful. Absolutely no power in at and hit it at the perfect height to save. If I recall correctly Szczesny got sent off shortly after and Alaba missed his penalty as well. By that stage we were ****ed either way and were never going to win. But that first 10 minutes...

I dunno all the penalties I've seen him take he doesn't really seem confident and tries to pass it into the back of the net with no power behind the strike, really languid kind of style

I like Giroud from the spot, he isn't a 'cocky' player so never tries anything clever, just smashes it into the corner. With him not in the best XI at the moment I don't know who I'd want taking them though, maybe Xhaka as at least you know he would absolutely leather it!
