I think you meant to say Man Utd, Anyway the more losses we have can only speed up the process for change. but it is Arsenal so expect a new two year deal for Wenger.

Sorry I got my streaks mixed up. I did in fact mean Rooney for Everton, when he was 16. He sunk us plenty of times at United too but I was initially referring to the Everton game.

I think that unbeaten streak was 30.

I don't think anything was said that we didn't already know, you can look on the pitch and know that the players have had enough.
Yeah I know but think it might be referring to Kos crying or whatever it was. I assume Wenger wouldn’t want people going behind his back regardless anyway

Remember when some people said we'd improve without the disruptive Alexis lol.

Remember when some people said we'd improve with a £53m Aubameyang.......yet he looks exactly like Lacazette.

The team is broken at its core.

Been away, not seen anything in 4 weeks. Sounds like I've not been missing much.

https://arseblog.com/2018/03/bright...is-abdicating-his-responsibility-to-the-club/

I’ve seen people suggest that if he really cared, or he wanted what was best for the club, he’d call it quits and walk away, but that’s not how it works. Managers don’t operate like that, and Arsene Wenger is not unique in that regard. They almost always think they can win the next game, then go on a bit of a run and make things better again.

Managers rarely resign, they’re almost always sacked, and I don’t see why anyone would expect anything different from Wenger. It’s that belief in their own ability, that self-confidence, perhaps even arrogance, that makes them top level managers in the first place, and while he can’t be blind to what’s happening, he’ll also back himself to put it right.

That’s why it’s pointless getting angry at him for not walking away, and anger should be directed a ‘board’ and a majority shareholder who are letting this gaping wound fester. Not a single Arsenal board member represented the club at Brighton yesterday. Did Ivan Gazidis have something better to do than, you know, his actual job? Tell you what, I’d hate to play hide and seek with that guy because he clearly has powers of invisibility. Like some kind of master spy he’s seen only when he wants to be seen.

This is how I see it. We need those with ability to do something about a current situation to stop hiding behind the previous successes and now failures of Wenger and do what is necessary.

Best case scenario;

PSG sack Emery at the end of the season.

PSG go in hard for Wenger (French legend, available, good relationship with PSG owner etc) ....Arsenal board lean on Wenger to take the PSG position at the end of the season (basically say "take it or we'll sack you").....Wenger can walk away saving face, the board get to pussy out on making the big call.

Wenger gets a couple of seasons to win another title or two and have a real crack at the CL with a star-studded team before retiring.

Arsenal get to pick a new manager unimpeded.

I mean......it's so beautifully easy and perfect for all involved there's no way it will happen because **** us right?

He couldn't win the CL at Arsenal in the early 2000s, so he isn't winning it at PSG now.

I thought the reason Wenger played Chambers on the weekend was to rest Bellerin?

But now he’s injured. Strange.

Bellerin has apparently been vocal within the dressing room too about the situation so wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why.

Great to see Spurs knocked out by Juve and Szceseny be a bit cheeky towards their fans!
