this works only if Mikel is harsh on Raya as he seems to be on Rambo. You think Rambo would be given another opportunity if he was first choice after Sunday?

That’s where I disagree. Raya has made more than a few mistakes but still is given a reprieve. I don’t think Rambo gets the same treatment now Raya is here.

I think mate over time my view on this has evolved. At first I thought it was, however it is evident now Raya has usurped Ramsdale much in the same way Ramsdale did with Leno (almost identically, took the position after 3 matches after the first international break).

Ramsdale’s confidence has also plummeted, even accounting for a calamitous few games from Raya I’m not sure Ramsdale could be trusted to come back into the team and perform at his previous level. Clearly there are behind the scenes issues now that have affected the relationship with him and Arteta.

Vieira has had groin surgery, out for a couple of months seemingly. Would’ve thought there’d be lots of minutes coming up with 10 matches in 36 days, particularly the CL games.

Injuries in midfield creeping up here. ESR has only started jogging again according to Arteta.
